Hello! I just found your channel and subscribed. 😊 This Blackstone video is very helpful, I like how you explain why you use certain ingredients and how those ingredients as well as your techniques enhance the foods. I will definitely be trying the smashed potatoes and lemon pepper broccoli!!
We're also empty nesters. I started pre-prepping our meals to (shhhhhh) keep my husband out of the store pre-made burritos box. I use TV trays and they are sized perfect for us. I find if there're different choices they all go. We also love one dish meals like American goulash, Shepard's pie for a quick meal. I make Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes, veggies and chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and veggies. My chicken recipes are lemon herb thighs with chicken rice , carrots or veggies and teriyaki chicken with rice. I make my spaghetti sauce in the crockpot then package it in sandwich baggies for a quick dinner. Thanks for more options 🎉
Sara! These turned out even better than I expected! I'm impressed with how well you got that dough to work! We only have one pizza hand pie left (only because our air fryer just broke) and I made another large batch of the breakfast ones. Glad you loved the ones you made as much we loved the ones I made!
@@BrownFamilyGoods We just got it yesterday! We got the ninja grill / air fryer combo. I just need to take all the pieces out of the dishwasher and we will be good to go!
I have 5 of the GreenStalk planters and I use them for vegetables such as carrots, turnips, radish, and lettuce. I have had mine for 3 years now and absolutely love them.
Very nice but aluminum foil is not our friend. It should never be touching our food directly, especially when it’s being heated, but it’s just not worth the risk.
You had me cracking up don’t apologize for cracking up. We all do it, but we just got a Blackstone friend and that’ll be great to see what to cook on it.
I’m south of Houston and started a while ago. I have tomatoes and peppers already. By end of May it will be too hot….heat index up to 11 and yes please, more garden and cooking videos!
New subscriber as of today. Love your videos. Weird question, I'm curious about the pink hat hanging on the wall with the big hole in the top... Lol I'm over here wondering if one of the dogs had it for breakfast or if you put flowers in it... Lol
Welcome! Oddly enough, you're not the only person to have asked that! 😂 I cut the top out so I could wear it with my ponytail/bun out in the summer. Definitely looks better on than hanging on the hook!
@@BrownFamilyGoods ha! Brilliant! Lol it's a rainy day here today and so I've literally just been watching your channel for hours. I'm currently watching the peach cobbler coffee cake one.
Hitting my first farmer's market sometime in April! I use to go with my friend's family as a kid, her mom did salsas and different kinds of bread etc, and now I'm doing my own thing with plants/plant starts, produce, herbs and flowers. Thank you for this!
I started a few things from seed and some i will direct sew but for that we have to wait till after mother's day. But ive been buying seeds every time I go some place lol but im so excited for this years garden because this is my first time starting seeds and got grow lights and all that ❤
The apple dessert looks great, but that isn't kolach* dough and they are not in the shape of kolache* either. They do look yummy though! - Kolach is the singular. Kolache is the plural. (...and if they have meat, they are techically klobasneks, but no one calls them that.)
Your barnyard sounds make me smile. So much going on out there ! Your greenhouse gives you a great view of everything. And the dogs in your other videos always deciding to drink when you want to record, make me laugh ! Those chuckles brightened my day along with the expressions you give 😅 I use that Jiffy mix and it works good. I have never tried Bachelor buttons..I may give them a try. I live in Zone 3 and would have to dig up the Dahlia tubers in the fall and start them inside early in the spring. I have found that planting them from seed every year is so much simpler and more productive. Looking forward to seeing your flowers blooming.
Thank you for watching! ☺️ I love that I can see 360 degrees from the greenhouse too! Usually I just catch Clark digging holes when he thinks I’m not looking 👀 lol
