Hi, first thanks for your video, it might be really helpfull to me but unfortunately, when i power on my circuit by pressing the shift button, midi channels are not displayed. Have you got an idea of why ? thanks :)
@@TheRealPatriot69 unbelievable!! I should probably look into fixing it, but they're still easy to find for a decent price! I hope yours isn't too irritating for you!!
i've got a question i'm very new to cc midi and tx program changes, just got a 707. its a shame my td3 doesnt respond to tx pc, but i was wondering if it is possible to control which sequence my TB3 is playing trough txPC. i'm able to change the sound/preset but making it switch sequence trough 707 clips has not yet worked for me. thanks in advance
The first thing about mine that I noticed NOT liking was the touch sensitivity of the keys, it's total shit, I don't know yet if there's a way to adjust it; but I'll randomly be playing and some notes are just dramatically quieter when I feel like I'm playing with the same pressure.
Yo... hear that noise the synth makes when nothing is playing... you can hear it at the beginning. I bought mine for $250 because they dude I bought it from thought something was wrong with his... KEK, yours makes the same noise.
Definitely agree, the DM12 was my first real analog synth after a bunch of digital synths and a Blofeld VA, and it's something special. Too bad it's so heavy though!
People hate Behringer for one main reason, They've made synths affordable for everyone. There use to be a big barrier to entry in the world of analog synths, and I love them for it. Great little review.
Nice idea, I have an option to 'cheaply' buy a Deepmind 6. I have a Deepmind 12 desktop. You're enticing me to spend money 😀Just one question, did you change the sliders? I would like to do that as well, colour coding the different functions.
Hey KRS-t! I love this vid. super informative. I have a quick question, I'm looking to have my Volca drum trigger a pattern from an external midi source. Is that doable? my set up is Roland SP404 MKII into volca rum via midi. I don't want to play the volca from the Roland, I want to play samples from my Roland but have those also trigger the patter on the volca. Is that possible?
I think so??? The 404 pads have midi out don't they? They might be able to send Tx messages to the Volca... check the 404 manual to see if the pads have assignable midi??
Excellent video. Was thinking of making a new panel from sheetmetal someday. I would likely run the holes with a milling machine, but it seems like it would be quite a hassle. The manual has a nice 2d CAD template for reproducing the layout. The unit is very neatly designed. They must have a heck of a design department! They must be having fun.
There has been a Moog M-32 faceplate on eBay for over a year now, sadly it doesn't ship to the UK as this would be a cool project too! I've considered using my cnc machine to replicate it too!
Please my friend, 960 has sound inside or need to another synth ? 962 Switch is for what ? What about CP3A-M ? Ah, just listen to Magnum Opus - Sinestesia
The 960 is a sequencer, it needs an oscillator adding to make sound. The 962 can be used to change the 960, and the CP3M is a mixer module. None of these will make sound on their own I'm afraid!
Hi very nice, please my friend, where can I buy Behringer 960 and Eurorack ? Eurorack has the power to the Behringer 960 right ? I´m from Brasil and here there isn´t any.
if both were the same price would you pick the the hydrasynth explorer and deepmind 12 (d)? very different synths but really cant choose what to get and cant test them out sadly both are good for what im planning to do
@BombedByMe I have the hydra and DM12 desktops, all I can say is that the Hydra is a lot of fun, but I definitely use the DM a lot more just generally... unless I really want something that sounds unapologetically digital!

@@Studio-solutions-com thanks buddy I'll take a look I also like the MS1 but that's because before I became a punk in the 80s🤪my mate had an sh101 which I fell in love with All these years later as I came back to electronic music I can finally afford one 😀
In fairness very much like crave Toss up between MS1 and that Was thinking of hooking up a drum module beringher and maybe a bass module with the above Any thoughts?
@neillatore6975 The real question is which are you going to get FIRST? lol Are you planning on using them live or for recording? The Crave is a perfect bass machine and is capable of much more than most people imagine... definitely try one out 😀
@@Studio-solutions-com haha brilliant No just home recording Make music with reason daw Interesting it's a bass line generator as that means could ghost that and head for the drum machine 😀
I’d much rather have a capable synth that has tons of mod options compared to some limited classic-sounding synth. Also, the DeepMind has fans? Is that common in digital synths?
