@halfghaniteevee3559 I will be honest I’ve never even heard of it so I’ll have to look into it more! I have a laundry list of titles from the comments but adding it for sure 👍
@@TheBingeList99 No problem, its got Morena Baccarin (Vanessa from Deadpool) as the villain. Elizabeth Mitchell as the MC, Scott Wolf, Morris Chestnut and Alan Tudyk. It's only 2 seasons, season 1 is superb and season is great but they kinda muddled the later half. I'd love to see it get a legacy sequel series, that's a good video idea too. Shows that deserve a legacy sequel, best & worst legacy tv shows 👍🏽

Haha agreed, so many memorable scenes for one reason or another. I honestly forgot how many they packed into the original trailer. This newest season is great
Great list, but I cant agree with The Bear. Its probably the most annoying show ever. The constant shouting, aggresive, vulgar, chaos throughout the series. These ppl should just sit down and talk for once.
I can understand how all of that would bother you, but to not see the beauty in the writing and the character development. Cinematography is phenomenal as well. Very chaotic, but I think that’s why some people love it so much
I feel like they do that intentionally to replicate the kitchen industry which is a lot of shouting, aggressive, vulgar and chaotic. But it’s definitely not for everyone and glad you liked the other options!
I don’t know, I think it makes sense because The series is focused around the beef sandwich shop to start but Carmy renames it the bear in the show but also bear is a nickname for the Berzatto name and it’s in Chicago, home of the Bears. 🤷🏼♂️
I think sci-fi/fantasy is the only stuff I can stand to watch anymore. Never need to watch another crime/detective/cop/hospital/lawyer/family "comedy"/etc. show, like, EVER. Fallout was good, and I'm surprised I like House of the Dragon after the disaster of the last season of GoT (except for the sex, but I suppose Martin's only connection to sex is what he imagines sex is rather than having any). Stopped watching The Boys after coming across some ahole insisting the "new girl" give him a blowjob or whatever in the first 20 minutes. Got nothing to say to me if rape is all you have to work with to pull people in to your sh!tshow.
I know, I said this in another video. I have a love hate with miniseries. I love that’s it’s got a full arc that wraps up most of the plot lines but always wish there was more!
@@TheBingeList99 I'm sure they will do a 2nd season. Watched an interview with the creators they seem very open depending on the numbers of course. But it seems to do well so I think we'll get at least 1 more !
The Last Ship surprised me. It looked shlocky but it is surprisingly logical and entertaining. No dumb character choices. It feels like Star Trek. the ship itself is a plot device. Hunting down resources and finding a cure. Fighting the crazies and rebuilding society.
I never thought of it like that but it does have that Star Trek feel to it and u was skeptical but I it’s a great option. Less Sci fi than some of the others but enough in my opinion
I wish I could find something to watch, but before seeing this video, I’ve tried to watch three of these and couldn’t watch more than an hour. And, none that I did enjoy are on this list. Someone needs to do a better list.
Sorry to hear that, maybe one of the 12 other options? These are all pretty generally enjoyed series so maybe a different genre? Good luck finding your next option
You describe The Boys very well, to me it seems like this defines what a real-life world with people who have extraordinary powers would be like. I enjoyed Outer Range as well, sad to hear they've canceled the next season of it. I'll add some for folks that have never seen it, Rome on Max is richly done and excellent, Deadwood not bad either. For the weird, there's Penny Dreadful, sexy and vampires/werewolves/more in a turn of the century setting. IF you want something truly smart, slick, with satisfyingly complex espionage angles and some pretty damn good humor, The Diplomat in Netflix is at the top of the list. Just so well done, so well acted, excellent dialogue, plenty of interesting characters with interesting complexities while all being utterly plausible and realistic. Can NOT recommend this series more, AND season 2 will be dropping in the next few months I've read.
To me, regarding Outer Range, as soon as they introduced multiverse and not just time travelling, I think they fell into trouble as to where to go next. Well! That's my opinion.
That’s exactly what the boys is in my eyes. I said this to another comment but every time a series like outer range gets cancelled I hold onto hope that another streaming service will pick it up. Big fan of all of your other recommendations. I actually have a few slated to be in some upcoming videos. I started penny dreadful a while ago because I love the fictional characters/monsters etc in the series but I may have not given it enough time. I will have to go back and check it out again
Very good list! Sugar needs to be seen! I’ve watched it because Slow Horses is a very good show on Apple TV, expecting something similar. Oh boy was I wrong, in a good way. Let’s hope Sugar gets a 2nd season.
I did not read the books but from what I read about the series it seems like they were just trying to stay loyal to the source material. BUT, you are not wrong lol
I know, I know 😅 you might be the 30th comment about that. 100% mixup when writing the script and transferring my notes. By the time I was notified, numerous times about it. It was already posted so just rolling with that one lol 🤷🏼♂️😂
I’ve seen a few of these shows. I particularly liked your critique of Happy Valley. Spot on! I’d be really interested to know what other Americans thought of it? In my opinion it’s one of the very best dramas ever. Great, great cast! Of the ones over not seen I will as to my watch list, I trust your judgement, thank you!
😂 not to bad but lets be real the boys is the best and it not being on here seems criminal, i appreciate that you had the names listed though thats very nice in any event 👍
