An easy way of removing those marks and divots is to take a marker and colour the whole surface. Then take a fine sandpaper and make a few strokes over the surface. The color will come off across the surface except in the low spots, which become clearly visible. The opposite is also true - after a few strokes any small area that is clear while the area around it is still colored is obviously a high spot and need to be worked on. This was a trick taught to me by my grandfather, who worked several years as a machinist for Allis-Chalmers.
I love the Invicta Pro Diver. It is a beautiful watch. It is well made, it keeps great time(I put in on my time grapher). You don’t have to worry about it being damaged or stolen. If you can come down off of the status pedestal for a moment you will appreciate this watch. Respectfully
Does anyone know if the INVICTA on the front can be removed with a solvent? It is a beautiful watch but I'd prefer it didn't have a big INVICTA on the front. To create a little mystique, and it would look better, IMO.
Beautiful work, CG! Would you attempt a stem tube swap to add a screw down crown? Is that possible with the SNZG, you think? I'm down for the NH36 swap and the crystal, but I'd love to add a screw down crown along with and hack and wind.
The level of lume / light on these watches are on point. Since they are made for the military / service people they did not create something that illuminate them in the dark to be SEEN. Think about it. .
I’ve watched a ton of reviews before buying, and finally got one about 3 weeks ago. It’s been a grail of mine for a while. My 3rd or 4th day I bumped the watch case against the door, while walking through the with my pack. I knew for a fact my 3 day old grail watch was going to have a gnarly scar from the hit it just took, and to my surprise NOTHING!!! WTH are they made out of??? And the tests you did?? Good god bruh…but at least I know…lol…this was so cool to see, and probably the only video to watch when working up the nerve to buy this watch. Thanks for insane review!
Have this watch and love it. However, I lost one of my screws. Any suggestions on where to get new ones? Emailed company several times but since they discontinued, I appear to be out of luck. I have this exact model.
Unfortunately we are very disappointed after receiving a used and or substandard model from Klokers factory. Klokers refunded us the purchase amount after we returned the watch to them. But refused to cover the expenses for the import Duty and Tax occurred here in Thailand. Then i offered them to purchase an replacement watch if they willing to pay for the import duty and tax for the reorder! They not interested and all the communication was very unpleasant and complicated and not standard.
Great video. I'm looking to upgrade mine to a sapphire but not sure whether to go for double domed. Is the one in the video domed or double domed? I quite like the edge distortion on the one you installed. Thanks in advance.
I just got the version of this watch with a bracelet instead of the leather band. It is a great watch and it is my third Signature Collection - Courageous. I also have a BL1258-53L (Blue Face) and a BL1259-51X (Brown Face). If you can find them, these are great watches. There is a little work to get them correctly set with the Perpetual Calendar, but they keep great time and soon as we get rid of Daylight Saving Time, I will never have to change them except for travel and BL5446 has a local time. Great watch if you can find them as Citizen has discontinued this line.
I know where your coming from. I'm into watches and Steins. Yes, Steins. Specifically, Budweiser steins. It's hard to explain it to people who can't understand what drives someone to spend time searching for something that i so hard to find and the excitement we get when we find that special one.
Nerves of steel! To put this watch under the car tire... Nerves of steel indeed. Ha, ha. Very much enjoyed watching this video. Very informative and confirming how reliable and durable is this watch. Good tip to look for one second hand.
I forwarded to find out what polishing wheel used and accidentaly jumped to 6:40 " Because the kids are around, I would be able to pull out in a hurry".... I was like... wait ...what?
