As a 12-year-old desperately searching for any and all KH stuff I could get my hands on, I used to pull this up on the browser version in my free time even though I couldn’t read anything or do anything in the game but walk around the menu.
wouldn't it be great if these big companies just made their older stuff accessible? like, they're not making money off of it anyway. But instead, fans need to go through hell and back to uncover these. They don't even need to make the stuff playable, just accessible so fans can have something to work off of.
I would love it if Wizards of Waverly Place got a world in Kingdom Hearts 4. If they start doing Disney Channel worlds it'll be cheesy but I'll be so happy.
I knew I recognized the name Ian Livingstone: that's the same composer as the home console versions of Bionicle Heroes! I hope this info interests at least one other person.
This definitely explains why the KH3 soundtrack lacks a lot of the recognizable sound of the first games. Like call the old overworks tracks “on the nose” (using Under the Sea for Atlantica) or whatever but at least they were distinct, in KH3 a lot of the overworld themes blend together in a bad way
Haha loved the concept. 9 is the only one that tripped me up. But it did that big time! I still can't wrap my head around it NOT being a YS song, it literally has the EXACT same progression and vibe of a vs. Org XIII battle song, it's absolutely insane
I only got 2 wrong out of all of these I’d say that’s pretty good but some of those weather songs really do sound like KH tracks who even made this connections XD lmao
Well, got 19/21. Never played the mobile game but managed to get that one... certain gummi ship theme managed to throw me for a loop and it's been too long since I played one of the portable games.
I personally would rank Dark Figure (aka Xehanort's Guardian) separately from Ansem, Seeker of Darkness himself. Y'know, for story reasons. Surprised it wasn't mentioned, actually! Absolutely lovely rating video, though. Looking forward to the next bits, especially the Mushroom XIII.
Honestly the Rating system and the pointless Heartless is what really killed this ranking video. Could have been much better with a structure of just doing the main line games. Probably wait for Pat or TGJ to this ranking video with at least better writing and interesting commentary. I reckon you can do it again even better. Goodluck I'd say give it another shot.
32 points! I've never had to guess so many things in a quiz like this before, and the time limit just wasn't suited for me to figure out four things in a timeframe like that. But this was still fun!
i actually always thought anti sora and shadow sora were both the same thing, and the fight in the captain's quarters was just u getting to finish it off instead of it running away at low health.
Never clicked that the 'Defender' is a large body progression, as in the frontal guard, makes sense but since the shield can move I never connected that.
I loved this!! It was also a ton of fun to take a guess at which track would play for each heartless group, and I was really interested in what track you'd assign the Green Requiem. The Little Chef playing for the Round Rice Cake made me laugh
@@GreenRequiem Thanks! I tried to challenge myself and never repeat a song for multiple Heartless, which led to some odd picks here and there. (I also used the World of Tres version for Ishimoto pieces, when possible)
