God bless this man and his wife (as well as all folks suffering from aphasia…). Randy had his major health problems in July of 2013 and my dear husband died from pancreatic cancer on August 9, 2013… so very grateful that Randy was able to “pull through “…my husband fought pancreatic cancer for 52 months…❤️🙏🌹
Randy don't give up there is always new medical developments I've worked with stroke pts.and I saw a lot of people who were in the same boat as you. And they overcame their disability and although their speech wasn't back 100 % they could be understood and one patient that was able to get the ability to play the piano and sing amazing grace .
I had the honor of taking care of my step dad that had a stroke in 2011 2 years after retiring from being a firefighter. Verbal asphasia was what bothered him more.but that side of the brain gave him that chance to sing. Randy Travis was is number 1 country singer and up to the day he passed in 2016 he would have me get his cds to play Randy Travis and this gave him his life back. Much love and prayers to you and your voice🙏🏼❤️
Thank you so much for sharing your story. My husband was in a motorcycle accident and suffered a severe TBI. Which left him with aphasia and apraxia. And even one of his doctor's didn't know what it was and tried to label him as mentally retarded.

Thank you Randy, for your wonderful music. My Dad is 88 and has dementia. Your music reaches him deeply. He taps his feet in time, whistles and likes to match those low notes in "It's Just A Matter of Time." He even yells out, "YEEEE HAWWWWWW!" Boy, that guy has a great voice and sure can play! Thank you Randy and the very best in your journey. Don and Karen Manion in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada
Randy had a stroke that wasn't diagnosed quick enough so there's some damage to his health. Just keep praying for his recovery, bc the more we pray that means God is listening.
