I am not a native speaker, so I don't have the best of accents, that's why I am currently working on improving it so in the near future I can use my own voice
@@vandervi_ Personally I think an accent would make you stand out more and become more memorable. Most English speaking commentators sound the same and become forgettable. But anyway This video is really good. I'm Gooned out on a Friday.
11:19 dont ever compare them again muricans clearly shown to be unimaginable levels of stupid if that its true , not only could that assumption be dumb , but the assumption that a ricksm could aim at you in a fck continental size country ; with 300 millions of ppl , after failing 4 plane crash due to the extremely poor instruction of always following what the ricksm said that all airports and pilots quickly abandoned in just 2 weeks , its just as if not even dubmer that what you said and the war on terror that followed has clearly show that the tower was an i|\|s!de j0b .
You’re telling me the reason why Tatsuki Fujimoto made his levitation video on RU-vid was likely to make fun of the terrorists ? 😂 if I couldn’t like Fujimotot enough 😁
Decent Video. I have one MAJOR criticism though. You went off topic quite a lot, ESPECIALLY with the third part. A LOT of the content was fluff that couldve easily been excluded from the video to make it more airy and digestible. The script was way too wordy. Like every second sentence used too many conjunctions and prepositions to just keep dragging multiple points, some which were unnecessary, and stringing them along a single sentence in a single breath. "Oh thats a cool fac- oh the point is still going. Ok that was pretty co- oh his sentence isnt finished yet." "Ok NOW everything has been mentioned in a single sentence and it feels jarring." These were my thoughts on the writing for the most part. The content itself is good. Im just saying that if I made a video of similar vein as yours, you would have the same criticisms about mine. The Historical exposition was unnecessary to the very end. I was wondering how most of the stuff was gonna deeply connect to the manga's anime, since you spent a lot of time on that section, but then the video just....ended. Overall, those were the main gripes I had with this video. A LOT could be, no, has to be improved on the writing aspect. Try to be more clear, concise, coherent and straightforward with your explanations. Shorten your sentence length. You string along too many ideas in a single sentence using way too many moving parts and it shows how forced it all looks. I wish you all tbe best still. Please dont take my criticisms of the work personally. I have no gripes with the overall content and message of the video. BUT you definitely are doing very well for a beginner youtuber.
Thanyout, and sorry for the voice, but is the best I can do at the moment, I am practicing my accent in order to improve and start talking on camera in the near future, but in the mean time is the best I can do:(
After seeing Pluto I still have hope that it will come and if adapted nicely it will completely change the landscape of seinen anime or anime in general.
There are many factual errors in this video. The majority of Japanese companies are small and medium-sized enterprises, and they are not particular about recruiting new graduates. And many Japanese people change jobs frequently. People who "work for one company for the rest of their lives" are actually exceptional in Japanese society. Do you still believe in the racial prejudice that was propagated by the Western media in the past, that ``Japanese people are slaves to the company''? Japan is not as free as America, but it is freer than most European countries. Unfortunately, this video is mostly a mass of misinformation and prejudice.
That's interesting though I think you're being reductive towards the argument. To carry on with YOUR argument, wedged here at its expense, I don't believe "freedom" is quantifiable as anything but a US talking point, often meaning the opposite of freedom. Just like USA thrives so much on the "conservative" busybody managerial class, whose freedom is mainly to limit the freedom of others, such as suburban zoning laws. Europe is actually where you will find those idyllic mixed-use buildings, people being free to choose the direction of their LIFESTYLE. And even more "non-freedom" is enjoyed by "non-Americans" like the 700 million people who inherited the language of Rome: Latin American languages. ROMANCE languages, and with that the possiblity to be born mestizo, and not a eunuch.
I may have not use the best words, say I am sorry for that, as like in every country, the medium and small company made the majority of the companies, I should instead have said that the bigger companies or , the ones that have most of the power or something along the lines, as i don't have the exact numbers of how manny japanese work for a big , medium or small company. But nonetheless what i mentioned regarding this subject of one annual event where this companies hire athe majority of his workplaceit does happen and this helped make the lost decade even worst and affect Japan in a lot of ways, so I still believe my video has some value even after that mistake, thank you for pointing this out, I will be more carefull with this kind of stuff in the future 🙏
Unless the anime project is self-funded, self-published, and has at least 74 episodes like Monster, it is unlikely that this anime will come out anytime soon or ever.
lol. George doesn't hate Lord of the Rings. QUITE the opposite. He loves it and it inspired him. Look at his actual interviews. Even his criticism comes from a place of love. Its hard to overstate how much Martin was impacted by Lord of the Rings.
Graphic violence and waifus were used to be OVA stuff back in the 1980's. Was the economy also a factor? 1990's Japan was in recession after the asset bubble burst. The 1980's boom enables studios to create original IPs.
what you say is true, but as you say those were ovas, those were for a niche, not for general audiences like eva was, as it was broadcast in tv in a very popular channel in a very popular time slot and they weren't as succesful as eva was
Interesting video. Interesting style too. I like the mask and hand gestures. I wonder if this is a real voice even. Like a poorly edited rap video lol. But yeah great organization and presentation of information.
Very interesting and the vibe really fits the theme of vid. Its a shame 20th century boys wont get an anime but at the same I'm kinda glad it didnt. Overall good vid man
@@vandervi_ cause I don’t want it to be overshadowed or overlooked like the Pluto adaptation. I mean we never know unless they adapted it but still it’s gonna be a sad feeling if it did got overlooked by mainstream anime
Oh donn't worry, is a fair question, the thing is that if I don't apear on the video people think that I am just an AI channel, that's why I am currently practicing more my accent so I can improve and start talking with my own voice in the near future
Swinging hands is like japan in the 80's, creating only STUFF and CULTURE, without "making real profit". While USA's main export is copyright and other BANS on creating value: which of course is REAL profit. If Japan actually creates this anime, it would be ANTI-CREATION, while USA creating the blockade why this art cannot be made, is economic profit. Thanks for the dystopia. Are we gonna get production outside of China anytime soon because USA is NOT a dystopia? Or is China going to stay the main manufacturer because it's such a "communist" state working outside the remit of PRODUCTIVE capitalism?
Amazing video! Feels very well researched. How do you feel about the possibility that also in today's day and age with fast paced explosive shows 20th century boys would be too slow for some?
Thank you, it makes me happy to hear you enjoyed my video 😁. I feel it can be a problem as is we now have a lot of easy acces to a lot of content and entertainment, so it would be hard to hook audiences unless they take the oshi no ko or the frieren route and basically make the first episode a 1 hour movie where they start by showing the more exiting thing that happen alter in the series, like the robot stuff and then jumping back to the beggining
ah thats a pity, i would have loved to seen an anime of this story. love your body language, you timed it to fit the voice well. wish i could see that handsome face though! ;)
Thank you for your comment and the feedback, I am currently working in solving my mouth issue by practicing my english to get better at it start talking on camera 😁
Some feedback. STOP with the reactions. They add nothing to the video and actually take your attention away from what you're watching. Just stop. I am not watching the video because of this. Imagine watching a video and having someone flick your eyeball every few seconds. It is distracting and obnoxious. You could have way more views and fans if you just stopped being so self centered and vain. Good luck with that
Why are you even in this video if it's just a voice over? It's just irritating. I like the video. I subscribed. But please stop doing it. It's kinda creepy. Why doing that woth your hands? Is it at least for a deaf people?
Very interesting! I have a feeling much of east asia is militaristic in essence. Japan boom after ww2 in my opinion is that the shitty military men, were for the most part emasculated. Creativity doesnt flourish in militaristic, systematic cultures. Now they are back to impose a systematic culture. Japan rank highest in productivity theatre with much of asia not far behind. And Im speaking as an asian.
