Ascendancy is not a game with great art - It's an art exhibition with a game built around it. I get nostalgic every time when I encounter these Soundtracks and pictures - brilliant!
Ohno, here come the feels! lol I looove Lupin. But this movie shows why I love Miyazaki even more. Watched it as one of the first Miyazaki movies I ever got introduced to some 25yrs ago, yet I was -5 when this movie came out lol. Anything he touches melts viewer's hearts and he just doesn't retire. The score is perrrfect, as is Ohno.
There are 2 versions, Sound Blaster OPL or the MT32, sound different... and this is the OPL, Fm Synth version here. However, even when we could combine the best from both... drums and metallic sound effect bits are sounding way better in the Amiga version.

Thanks for the upload! I remember the soundtrack so vividly from my childhood. Staying up way too late, just to get a few more turns in. Too bad we never got a sequel. They even pulled the iOS version.
Practically all games here should've ran at 60Hz instead of the 50Hz they run at here. that's a bit of a shame for especially the music. Nice collection though. Monty is still epic.
Oh, how this reminds me of my Childhood. I was born in '95, and we had a large collection of VHS tapes that I loved playing on our VCR. Those T.v.s were HUGE. One of these, of course, was Castle of Cagliostro. I watched it as well as other Miyazaki-made films a lot as a kid, as my Father was what I call an O.G. Weeb; 3x3 Eyes, Mermaid Maiden, Doomed Megalocolypse, Genocyber, etc. This shit makes me feel like I'm sitting on the couch as a kid watching the movie all over again~
How could it be otherwise then just another pac man rip off and this time by sony,while it’s cover art might look like a mario rip off,but the game itself feels different,but it’s just interesting and amezing that sony already did saw money in video games back in the 80’s,waaay before the playstation🥲

Parece ter sido feito às pressas, sem nenhum tipo de planejamento, tudo genérico e repetitivo, poucos elementos.... o Rambo MSX1 é muito melhor, seria mais interessante uma versão exatamente como o original do msx 1 com gráficos da screen8
There is an un-copyable magic about this movie. Something about the combination of animation, music, story and characters that just gives it that coveted cinematic "lightning in a bottle" effect.
This game has 4 loops: you have 36 seconds left in the first loop, 32 in the second, 28 in the third and 24 in the fourth, then again 36 seconds left and so on xD i managed to complete it even without savestates
