But a parent can and will be arrested & children protective services will come in to take away the children that are 10, 11, 12 years old for being left home alone for a hour unsupervised yet the same age children are capable of making life altering surgical procedures that are irreversible 🧐🤔🤯 why are “they” pushing this narrative so hard that is literally leaving our next generation to be physically, mentally & emotionally disabled

Stop having kids before being financially stable. Stop breaking the law. Get out of areas with no viable economic outlooks. Get some better cultural norms. Get as many marketable skills as possible. Stay focused Figure out your "rites of passage".

Funny, 60 years ago or so, a bunch of good hearted, decent people got together and said, we should do something about these racist assholes who keep turning down applicants to colleges and workplaces because their black. We have whole metropolitan areas, cities and locations run by democrats for decades and minorities are still struggling. I grew up Compton and South Central. Voting democrat is not saving anybody. I left blackistan and never looked back. Choices require accountability.

There is no simple solution. There is only hard work and effort. Giving money to the homeless/addicted/mentally ill only tells them it's okay to be hooked on drugs, it's okay to take and not produce, that it's okay to commit crimes and be irresponsible.
This thinking is mostly the result of the Reformation. I am curious if anyone has the statistics of the percent of Roman Catholics vs Protestants acceptance of this message.
Akin to the ancient middle east, where one tribe would defeat another, and to show who was boss, would install statues of their king god in their defeated foes' temples.
Keep fighting Chris Rufo. We need more voices and, essentially, activism that is counter to our hyper-progressive infected society and institutions. Nearly everything about WOKE ideology and postmodernist ideas as they have been institutionalized are ruinous to our country and other western democracies.
And here we are 2024. Has anything really changed? This documentary says it all. And it is getting worse as time goes by. More and more communities are falling by the wayside and it's so sad...I look out my window in Connecticut and see the same damn thing happening here... it's no good, no good anywhere. Things are not improving at all.
The collapse of this city is hard to believe. The condition that these neighborhoods and communities have to face is hard to wrap my head around. Where tf is the money going? That's 3b but where is it going? Are they rebuilding those homes? Attracting and growing businesses through grants? What programs?
That’s what I was sitting here saying to myself. Why do y’all keep bringing children into the world when you know your struggle so real so raw and palpable darn near impossible to deal with. And you wanna bring an innocent child into that. I’ll never understand it.

I’m Canadian so I obviously don’t know America by heart, but the very obvious solution to this, is for the rich to actually support the poor and let everyone be equal, because once everything and everyone crumbles at once, the fucking government will go “oh no why is this happening what happened 😱😱” This is heartbreaking and I just feel so bad and I always don’t understand how places are left like this when other people can help
Nope. People that continued to make good choices and sacrifice should not have to deal with this. I am a black man that came from the foster care system in LA. Now I am in my late 30s, no kids, no debt, very, very ,very well off and still growing over all. I chose the difficult paths and made the choices to focus on better long term goals. Self discipline, the capacity to learn new skills, being brave, breaking cultural norms and being wise is how you make it. I don't owe anybody anything just because they are in the "struggle" and are black like me. No!
In Poland, a country which most Americans would consider poor if they knew of it's existence, when an industry falls, city authorities try to reinvent the city, try another source of income that is up to date. I need to add, that Poland has joined the European Union in 2004, and has been receiving funds to level up the standard of economy and has made a good use of them. Oh, wait... the American states are also in a union!
How do you think us Canadians feel? We eked out some concessions against NAFTA in the 80s. By letting our JTF "elites" be used as cannon fodder in forlorn hope missions. Which were meaningless tripe anyway. Because NATO wants to always play the "hero."
Since the first humans left Africa, individuals and families have moved from one environmental condition to another. This is how humans adapted to many pressuresm including extreme climate change. For the last milleneum or more economics has been a major factor in creating the geography of opportunity and deprivation. You could say, winners and losers. Except that everyone has an opportunity to move. Some feel that they are rooted in a place, or for whatever reason, less mobile. Maybe that is sad, or unjust. Ormaybe that is just the nature of being a living organism that needs to relocate and ,earn new ways of living to survive.
If there’s an emerging counterculture, you’d have to look to people like Thomas Sheridan, Sarah Jo Mondaini, Christian Morris to find it. They’re looking at today’s world from an esoteric, Fortean and hauntological , as well as a Jungian perspective. It’s coming from a place that transcends politics. Given that the classical education is rooted in classical paganism, you’d probably find that it’s going to fit into the current resurgence of paganism.
You don’t explain CRT accurately at all. How can you describe the theory without mentioning Derrick Bell and is research? CRT has nothing to do with equity training or “oppression” lessons but I know you understand the difference. You were so close to describing some of the real solutions to our communities lost in addiction, poverty, mental health, and crime with your first documentary. When a group of people are able to work, have freedom, and provide for their families there is a sense of pride. Once the opportunities leave the towns, the people are left stripped of their dignity, pride, sense of safety, and times get rough. Drugs replace pain. Humans react to trauma through fight, flight or freeze actions. Unless as a country we stop shaming people that need help to work their family out of poverty it will be endless cycles of wasted money. Treating unresolved trauma and giving families a minimum monthly cash salary is a start.
