One of my favorites, wore the edt quite a bit. Got the Edp and it is almost the same, enjoy it just as much. Still wearing it in my retired life. Awesome fragrance. 👍🏻

yeah, there's just something about this one, i still love it. i recently got a vintage 2004 bottle because i also remembered it being stronger, but there isn't a huge difference in performance. its not natural (80s style) oakmoss but the base of the vintage has a more "mossy" character and the suede thing is more pronounced. vintage bottles have a 5 digit batch code beginning with a letter if i remember correctly.
@jerridpowley2709 I'm 20 years old and just fell in love with vintage fragrances and if I may recommend a fragrance it would be baryshinkov and if you want a modern fragrance try radiant by moudon it's a very pleasant amber powdery slightly fruity nuances just beautiful!. There is a fragrance house up in Montreal I think named monsillage they have this beautiful scent called aviation club. And do you have any fragrance recommend for me(new or old doesn't matter) Keep the great work!!
Thank you for the recommendations. I think choosing a vintage is hard because they are very expensive and there are fakes. Many of mine I bought new not second hand. It is a risk. Vintage you can't sample. Choose based on what you like. It is tricky.
This is sweeter more unique and superior to oud noir, it has a certain latino vibe due to the tobacco according to the description, cuban or Spanish perhaps, it also smells very middle eastern , i wear this mostly for especial ocassions and when i go to goth shows.
Yes M7 first version is truly unique, oud and cherry mixed perfectly, I'm not a big fan of oud but in M7 it was perfect, I would say that part of the fantastic dry down is also thanks to the vetiver which is always present but not intrusive. M7 a gorgeous perfume from the 21st century but very 80s/70s
I got this after having the xs night and thought it was weird. I’d had my bottle of Dior stolen and went for a cheaper warm xs night. For some reason I was expecting a similar but different. Initially I thought this smelled like insect repellent lol
Bijan for men was a very powerful masterpiece, unfortunately it had many reformulations, but the 1987 one slightly changed its character in favor of an even greater power compared to 1981. The "trouble" arrived at the end of the 90s.. The same fate that befell another great male Giorgio B.H. First version, excellent, second l version, very powerfu , third version "water"
That will be tough for me to remember because it was a vintage bottle that I no longer have. And this bottle would no longer be in production. I will try to figure it out. I will let you know if I do.
Awesome scent. I have the latest formulation so I can't comment on how the original smelt. I heard this is the signature scent of many old school celebrities.
I just saw that it is sold out on the Zoologist website. This is very expensive, but seems intriguing. Their website has a bunch of samplers, so that might be a great way to try some really wacky absolutely different fragrances without dropping a full $200+ dollar bottle. BTW, I am impressed by the note breakdown on fragrantica, it has a lot going on here.
I can't find Furyo so this is going to be on my list of frags to pick up. I'll probably get this when I order a bottle of Kouros over the next month or so.
The initial spray is like Kouros, like I said it changes after that. Only the initial spray is similar to Kouros. Always try before you buy. This one is not a cheap scent.
Had a bottle of the original formula back in 94....I was 18 at the time. I was constantly re-applying because i was hooked on the opening, just as you mentioned. The bottle didn't last very long as a result. Loved it. One of the most popular high- schooler fragrances of the early 90s was Drakkar Noir... this was of the same era, and similar in appeal, I think.
You are absolutely right, excellent perfumes, the particularly summery "blue" series has excellent products, "cipresso Toscano" is one of these like Bergamotto di Calabria , but nothing dry down, the strange thing is that the colognes last longer, "Colonia" , "Colonia pura " "Colonia essenza " but they cost much more, Greetings from Italy
