In 1970, Easyriders established itself as a platform for motorcycle enthusiasts to immerse in the rugged, on-the-road lifestyle championed by the counterculture movement and greats including Steve McQueen, Peter Fonda, and Dennis Hopper. Issues of civil rights, the Vietnam War (and ensuing protests), political scandal, and the emerging generation gap fueled our obsession with wind-swept freedom and ingrained Easyriders with its overarching sense of rebellion.
More than a magazine, Easyriders is a lifestyle.
With a nod to our roots in independence, passion, and freedom, and with newfound emphasis on international travel, design, and entertainment, Easyriders has flown full throttle into a new era. Join us as we embark on this next journey.
he always gives props to scott as a sort of father figure... got to respect that! not on some fan hype bs, i'm not that guy; i like his work but i just see him as another guy, but i would legit get on well with this dude & could easily spend a weekend with him on the road. i also shut my phone off for a few days and just forget about time with nothing but myself and the road ahead. personally, i think that being on the road with no worries in the world is the perfect place for a man to gather his thoughts, but being with like-minded people who enjoy what you enjoy, that's just priceless.
How the world has changed. I was an original Easyriders magazine buyer from the first issue and continued buying the mag into the late nineties even though they had lost it for me long before then. But it really seems that the reborn magazine is no longer Easyriders, it caters for the new unbikers.
These bikes must have cost 000’ to build, pity they did’nt spend extra on helmets ! As Mickey Rorke said “better to be Dead and Cool, rather than alive and uncool” !! Ha ha.
No hate here, but why don't we see it rolling? I mean, if suspension and braking is hidden, there is some cool things to talk about, but we don't see anything here.
Nice story. Sounds like what I told my grandson, I had a old pan head California police bike that my father had left me. Grandson was 16, he asked me what I was going to do with it, told him if he could kick start it , he could have it. Needless to say , my grandson riding an old pan. Lol ! Only young man in my family,he was going to get anyway, by my way of thinking. Keep it in wind everyone.
Thanks for barely showing the bike or highlighting any of the custom elements she talked about. Of course I've seen the direction the "new" Easyriders is going, so I'm not realy surprised and definitely not impressed. Should've let it die and started a new "fashion biker" magazine.
Loved your music before you gained fame. I'm glad you got your lime light just wish you wouldn't have lost your way. Apparently you don't know the first thing about a motor sickle. Maybe you should learn about what you talk about as much as you know about what you sing about. Much love.
