I agree Lizzie was a talented artist!she went on to a great career!Diane Davis the blonde at the end of the show who escorts Dean was a Fantastic performer as well she was a special light to the show!i watched this show every week !at 10 years old loved it Dean was a outstanding singer and actor we need the reruns of this show to make us happy!
I love how Dean performed 'For The Good Times' he did it with so much emotion, it was heartbreaking, he was on the brink of tears 🥺 He had recently divorced Jeanne and was going through a midlife crisis

The history of the use of the word in it's "modern" meaning ("hip" "relaxed") goes back to the 1930's, mostly used by African American jazz musicians. But, by the 1950s and certainly by the 1960s, the use of the word "cool" (in this context) had become mainstream. It's just not possible that in the 1970s the word cool was "never used" - don't understand this statement at all.
2024, and it's STILL funny. I've just watched Jerry Lewis' tribute to Dean and their partnership' Accolades all around. Dean Martin was LOVED. There was a time when I thought Dean was a better singer than Frank Sinatra.
Dean Martin was the best. He will always be loved and admired for his great achievements, and the love he inspired in others. Such a beautiful caring human. ❤❤❤❤❤
When I came about them him and Jerry I never new anything . When I was a child . About them just new on my black and white TV I was the one closest all the time dragged away from the TV . Id scoot back up to to ur couldn't move me from Dean and Jerry. Just new when I fell apon this three days ago it's like new. I'm female 64 and as a child I would act like Jerry and sing like Dean . Danced around in living room with my brother we were so happy . And now I'm gonna relive what I didn't know nothing now I'm hooked and want to know everything these two did that I didn't understand them just . The love and laughter I new but as I watched just one . Could understand how powerful they were to the audience then and new there will be no one like them again . Altho on . In Jim carry now . I know he picked up a lot of Jerry Lewis and daen Martin applied them together it worked for him . I'm just saying . But don't really know if Jim did . Apply the greatness of them both . ?? Just my thoughts as I started to see Jerry again like 60 yrs later now I can love them again . I'm blessed 😂❤. Going through the roughest time in my life lost everything and now this . Comes my way I'm saved. 🤪😃

It’s April 2024, I come back here, once again, to recharge and pick up some good vibes from Dean Martin performance and his music. Works well for me, every time. Such a delightful person. A great entertainer. Always put a big smile on my face. He’s fondly missed.
