It's nice and well kept and maintained by the owners of the cemetery not like other colibariums that are abandoned and left in decay in other parts of the country.
When I went down there in 1982, there are not native Americans in there. just ordinary people of the Catholic faith. The earliest person entombed there I recalled was 1876. The latest were in the early 1950's. It was not in great shape down there near the entrance at the bottom of the stairs. Looks like plaster fell from the ceiling or something. But the rest looked okay. No lighting either so I had to bring a flashlight. It look like they were building more crypts in the center quad near close to the entrance, but never completed and it looked like in pretty bad shape, or shoddy construction. I guess the project was abandoned a long time ago because it looked really old! I could never find the pictures I took. All of them came out blurry except one. I wish I knew what happened to the picture. It was just a corner section of the mausoleum and you cannot see any writing on the vaults, just the shapes of them. Maybe the big quake of 1989 did some bad damage.
One of those establishments looked like a bulk storage unit lining the road. I guess the underground mystery goes on. Maybe they are the ones hiding the beer tap. It is a secret craft brewery in disguise, not a mausoleum! Inquiring minds need to know. You would think the staff would realize.The more they don't say something about an item.The more curiosity it genarates. The doors look well maintained and there is a modern key lock on it. There may be a family request to keep it closed.
