My parasocial relationship with Cole Trotta has become too strong... I've built a shrine with his picture on a kicker ramp. I've become his aposteezle.
I was 13 when this released I was deeply into longboarding and actually started learning slides at that age I would bomb hills with my friends and I started investing my money I got from birthdays and mowing the lawn into good gear I stopped riding sector 9 which it wasn’t a bad brand but they just made accessible boards you could easily pick up at skate shops nothing special of course. I picked up a actual downhill board from a company I can’t remember what company made it god this was a whole decade ago I made modifications to it like vicious grip tape for better grip I even took a bushing from a old pair of trucks and got a longer screw to make a foot stop on top of my board I started riding blood orange wheels and bought myself a helmet and a pair of slide gloves and even got a helmet go pro mount and go pro for Christmas by the time I got to high school I was getting tired of long boarding and skateboarding and gave it all up for track and field and football sometimes I revisit old videos like this to remind myself of a time I actually got to live a childhood dream and It was the first time in my life I pushed myself far out of my comfort zone it was such a thrill and some days I fell and ate shit other days I had great runs with my friends bombing hills and sliding around corners
Love how Liam passed the torch to Cole for danger runs, so fucking sick. Their styles are unmatched when it comes to pushing the limits. LBDR do it best
Fantastic. Absolutely loved the raw run at the end. Exactly what I was longing for after the countless tasty appetizing bits presented throughout the video before that.
