I have a lake by my house that’s covered in pads at least half the lake it’s wild. I know there are some hogs in there. I’ll be trying some of those tips and see if I can get some of them.
Like what you are teaching us about the baits of the month it's awesome but I fish in Connecticut and most of the lakes around here are only 12 feet deep what do you think people like me should use when the lakes are not that deep but hold good fish in them and get weeded over thick thank you for your help never give up
Appreciate you bring us this up and close with Cliff Prince. Great guy! Now get your sh!! together and go win smith. I don’t like it when people question what their future looks like. I know that’s an easy thing to say, but know one knows the future. So just be confident in what you know how to do best. Like cliff sometimes less is more!
Well I live on Tennessee river Florence Alabama , an few days ago on pickwick it was 91 surface temp and on Wilson it was 88 other day , it’s tough down here however what I learned when current flows late in the afternoon they will bite , another way we do it go about 1am an cover water with spinnerbaits an last few weeks iv had good nights an morning.
Do a 4 day grinder on the ohio river somewhere between Parkersburg wv south, where a winning weight might be 30 pounds over 4 days. Where Live scope would not be a factor. Would love to watch an event where instinct and determination is the key
I totally agree with the rod! I was using a 7 foot broom stick originally but now I have the Dobyns 735c fury and it’s a mod-fast and the slower action works the frog so much better and casts smaller frogs better and like you said when they eat it it creates a needed delay before I set the hook
I picked up the 7’9” Jordan Lee rod and I think I’ve put about 50 fish on it and I think I’ve literally only lost like 3 fish it’s crazy! Also not to mention the current from those pleasure boaters fishing the mudline that they create is awesome too!
