What's going on y'all, the name is Jailon but a lot of people call me Weasel! I specialize in weasling my way into good Marketplace deals! Located in Southeastern Kentucky! Send me something cool! P.O. Box 1412 Viper, Ky 41774
10/10 tips. But also keep in mind there are alot of scammers around tryna grab money, marketplace is not a 100% trustworthy. there will always be people who will ask for money upfront for gas to make the ride to you and never show up, or even make u show up for no reason. There are also people who will rob your bike off of you so beware, or be ready 🤣. Another thing to keep in mind is some bikes will take a while to trade or sell, i have my current 450sxf that i had for months and barely any offers, and its priced reasonably, so dont jump on a deal that wont sell for a while if you are only in it for quick cash.
Couldn't have said it better myself! In the book I have I go over this really in depth in basically every step because I have had my fair share of screw ups
@@ekremhyseni9214 It's only 9 Pages long so it's just a comprehensive overview on the ins and outs. Haven't made enough sales to figure out what I need to add on/change for a part two
I was doing this starting at the age of 12 lol Just gotta get your first ride you wanna trade on and get after it! The book I have mentions a lot about starting out at a young age and working your way up!
@@WheelieWeasel I actually secured a trade for an ‘03 blaster 200 for my Se bike!! I’m so excited, hopefully i can get a 125 and throw some supermoto rims on. The reason why I was curious on if I could do this is mainly because of like titles and stuff. Is there anything i should know about that?
@@_j5_ only have to worry about the title if you’re planning on putting it in your name. I’ve hardly ever messed with titles on dirt bikes but always make sure a street bike has one so it can be road legal
Dude I agree with everything you said. Like my fc350 is built and all and I kinda wanna trade it for a 2023 ktm 125 sx that is super super clean and all. It's by a company btw. I also don't think it's worth? But looking at the year and everything and being able to make it look like a 2025 idk. But I put my new battery in yesterday and fires it up today and my gosh. I went to click the starter not start but the thing of wait 5 seconds before holding it. when I clicked it the mother trucker fired up money well spent on that too. But there's also a 2023 husqvarna fc450 I'd love to trade in. But ik I'll never get cuz it's technically a down grade so yeah great video
Tryna get something a lot newer is always a plus if it's also up in value. The 2023 KTM125 would be around the same price and somewhat similar power so I'd make the trade but also getting the 450 and going up in year would be a good trade but one of those where you'd have to invest in it a little
I’ve been doing the same thing for a little while now and now I’m seeing all these older street legal motorcycles. Do you think they could pull the same profit?
It's hard to honestly. I been down the same road and reason you're seeing them so much is the riding season for those bikes is coming to an end so people start letting them go until next summer rolls around
What gear should i be using to start i can only clutch up my KLX140 so i dont do power wheel first gear is what i use second gear bike hardly comes up an i have to give way to much power third gear bike wont left at all
Depends usually. I always use my clutch to pop these smaller bikes up and I always try to pop it up in 2nd gear. 3rd gear takes way too much throttle to get it up sadly. If you can pop it up in 2nd and get it back far enough it’ll be easy to keep it up
Yo another question does your bike die too when you just started it and put it in 1st? Bc mine does. Is there something wrong with my bike? Or is it just how these 2018 fc350s are?? I'm kinda worrying. But when I let it warm up until I can feel the heat on my legs it's fine? But idk.
I think it’s just a hydraulic clutch thing. Mine does it from time to time, especially when coming to a stop. Just bleed the clutch and replace it with some new fluid. Think of these clutches like a brake where they use fluid. If your brakes are low on fluid they’ll be times where it feels like they aren’t much braking power so when your clutch is low on the fluid it’ll do the same. I’m talking about the fluid on the handle bars btw
@WheelieWeasel yeah it was topped up with new fluid. I'll just bleed it tomorrow then quick and see if that helps with anything if not I'd just let it warm up fully
@WheelieWeasel yeah but I did some research. It seems to be a common thing on the 2016-2018 models. Bc some guys said it has happened to them since they got it. But when it's warmed up it works without issues so idk.
I came back turns out my battery died too. So a new one is on order. Also does your bike want to move forward too when starting in 1st with the clutch fully pulled in? Bc mine does. Just wondering if it's normal
Those batteries sure aren't cheap either LOL Also yessir mine does. I was thinking my clutch needed bled where it's hydraulic. I think it's okay but if you wanted you could adjust it and get it to stop
@WheelieWeasel oh yeah it is LMAO but it definitely makes life easier. And I'm happy to hear that I thought I had to replace something in my engine haha yeah I'll probably be on the bike Wednesday when the battery arrives.
Good to hear a new yzf sounds just like my 2012 wr450, a bag of loose bolts but damn it goes. I bet it vibrates like hell too. Yamaha 450 life: "is this a normal ticking this bike makes usually or is it a new sound? Or did the ticking from 2 days ago just become louder?" Just did 220 km today on mine.
good to see you got your ride up and running ive been wanting to pull my bike out more, i havent been like id like to. i always make excuses for myself of it being too hot or something but im gonna have to get out this weekend
Nice video. I bought a 1984 XL600 new from the Honda shop in Elizabeth City NC. I could ride wheelies all day long on that bike. This brings back great memories !
Hey I was wondering if there was any way u could message you other than this because I have a dirtbike and I have a guy wanting to trade me for another bike and I just wanted to get your opinion on it?
@@WheelieWeasel I have a 2013 yz250f that’s is set up for enduro and has a rekluse clutch suspension done to it and a fresh rebuild 18 hours ago and he has a 2016 yz450f that’s stock
Trying to trade my z650 for a 250r right now. My whole point is to get back to fishing and hunting spots. I don't think a ton of people do it, so subscribed!
@@WheelieWeasel He pulled out of the deal, ended up with a klr650. Surprisingly good! Got shown at least 4 trout locations, ate it on a clay mud puddle with my 80% road tires. Looking forward to more bike fishing content as much as I am getting a set of knobbies.
@@njgfpv3696 I got some videos on the gen 1 KLR650! I absolutely loved mine. Surprisingly I thought it had almost ZERO flaws so I think you’ll probably enjoy that KLR a good bit if you like good bikes!
