No countries in the world are perfect even like Canada or Singapore. Canada is a country with high tax and Singapore is in high inflation . Malaysia is a country which is affordable and full of mother natures. In Asia you are meant to have some traffic congestion or some dirty streets, such as Bangkok, the most visited Asian country in Asia. However, there are places which are clean and comfortable if you know where to find it.
Yeah but I think the popularity isn’t met with the quality to be honest - it’s also not built up enough to meet the popularity. Still a cool place though, but I think it’s overrated/overchosen by tourists and travelers
They look pretty happy to me. Also, i only buy cheapo coffee, make it myself at home.. wife used to get gift cards to starchunx as tips, but we always gave them away. I refuse to take part in boujii coffee. But Bali is awesome and you are trés luckay
Yeah they did look happy, but Idk if they are the luwaks that actually produce the coffee or if they are there just to draw more attention. It's hard to know what happens behind the scenes for coffee production, but I know the mistreatment is a pretty common thing.

Oh most likely just a hook like the baby gators they keep at mini golf in orlando, on lease from the state, when they reach a certain size they are swapped out with smaller and turned into shoes and appetizers.. but those guys look pretty dang adorable lol. Indeed it is sad- but all we can hope is that the farmed ones are treated well, and can rest knowing that they DO provide a sought after resource, ensuring they will be protected as an asset (overall) and that ultimately will contribute to their ecology being saved somewhat.. the Balinese are a more "aware" society One would hope.. that being the Naval of Humanity, they would be more conscious of the well being of their resource critters. I like to hope so, anyway. I have a buddy that used to go often, and would import furniture into the netherlands and the states. I love the carved arches and stuettes
We have been to Oahu several times and Lanakai wasn’t our favourite beach. Would rather go to Kailua or Waimanalo Beach. We certainly didn’t find it great snorkeling. Very cloudy. Way better beaches in Oahu
Appreciate your opinion! I'm kicking myself that I never visited Waimanalo Beach, because I drove past it many times and everyone says really good things about it. I do like smaller beaches though, and I can confidently state the snorkeling by Lanikai is much better than Kailua. But that's just from my own experience :)

Now It's been around 20 years that I didn't visit my country and I am planning definitely taking my daughter to Cusco next Year. An interesting fact.... Elvis Presley liked Kailua. He had his own jet airliner and could go anywhere he wanted. He went there. It's the best on Oahu. I like Kailua beach park. 😎✌️

It's not "just outside of Portland". It's in a beautiful location on the Westside of the city. We love to have picnics there in the summer and there are great hiking trails just across the street.
Europe: Go to the top of our mountains using Funiculars! The US: Go to the top of our mountains walking the infrastructures that a funicular used to be on!
Don't mention it, I'm certainly a foodie and I want to show that you don't have to miss out on delicious local foods when traveling! That's really cool that you have a vegan familly, props to you all!
