Machu Picchu is one of the most impressive Inca fortresses to visit. You will be amazed by such a magnificent monument that belongs to the 7 wonders of the world.
oh no! In Peru nobody talks bad about Inka Kola, 😂 now if you try Chicha morada and you don't like it, you would probably be escorted to the airport...just kidding
Hey man, nice video. Im going to study for one semester in Lima and shitting my pants at the Moment😂 you gave me a lot of hope that im going to have a good time there.
Hey thanks a lot, you're going to have AN AMAZING time I promise! I love Lima and I studied abroad for a semester in another country and it was one of the best experiences of my life.
You actually nailed it with the "mira, flores"... That's the reason it's called that way because back in the day it has a lot of green areas and gardens anf flower plantations. A lot more than today. That plate it's not a lomo saltado at all. Lomo saltado is not a stew, but a sauteé: meat, onions, tomato, fries, soy sauce and vinager in a wok in high fire served with withe rice... that's all lomo saltado has. Inca Kola must be drinked REally cold and with ice. Peruvian cousine is the mortal enemy of veganism, so if you ate vegan, you never tasted peruvian dishes AT ALL... You never went to any traditional peruvian spot? Miraflores has literaly 5 or more per block. Why you didn't enter the musuem? that ancient building is 1000 years before Inca's Empire... It wasn't a good video video, You need a guide or at least some local help and go for representative places... Never ever trust trip advisor sh*t in Perú
Miraflores is the perfect name for the neighborhood then! And I did refer to a plate named "Estofado" as Lomo Saltado, but I do know now that I mixed them up - my wife actually ordered Lomo Saltado and I ordered Estofado, but I tried both of them. We did have Inca Kola more times in Peru, and I would agree that it is better cold (I actually really like it now haha). We did eat traditional Peruvian food in Lima and Cusco - maybe it's impossible for me to say if the vegan versions can compare to the non-vegan versions, but I tried many different Peruvian dishes from multiple places and they were delicious (ceviche, tacu-tacu, aji de gallina, causa rellena, lomo saltado, etc.) We didn't enter that museum because we were running out of time and had plans to go to more museums throughout Peru - we are not the biggest museum enthusiasts, but the spot looked cool so I at least wanted to point it out. I also strongly disagree about "needing" a guide - we had an absolutely wonderful time in Lima exploring many areas on our own and were still able to learn about places before going, during our time, and still after visiting. Sorry you didn't like the video, but I appreciate your opinion and comment!
