Hello and welcome to my channel. My name is Gemma, i am from the UK. My channel is about my life experiences of living as an autistic adult , i was diagnosed at age 25 in 2014.
I started my youtube channel because my social worker encouraged me to research Autism , which i did and found no support for females on the spectrum, so i started to create my own channel.
Since being diagnosed with autism i have been working with local authorities such as my local hospital, mental health trust and local police constabularly, and local BBC Radio Station, to increase the understanding of Autism in my local community. I also communicate with local political members to involve autism in the discussion.
I also am a massive Elvis Presley, Star Wars, Disney and Buffy The Vampire Slayer fan, i have collections in each of these areas.

I agree 100%. The thing I hate the most is the "impairments" we're supposed to have as autistic people, when it's really the way that society misunderstands us & fails to accommodate us.💚
I’m fed up with the false narrative of “Autistic people don’t have empathy”. That’s absolute nonsense. It’s fact that so many neurotypical people don’t have empathy

ps, thats what they say, ie everyone is on the spectrum, and there is some truth to that, yes we are all affected (i wont go into the reasons here) sensory issues, normies expect us autisticly affected folks to switch them off as if we could! we cant!!! The normal audio sounds that affect us autistic people are like Japanese water torture in the 2nd world war, so thats why it really anoys me when they say, everyone is on the spectrum.. gemma,, our sensitivity is weigh up into the sky, and people can not possibly comprehend that (sensory issues) xxx

@@GemmasJourneyGrace gemma, i have some hearts to repair first and its a huge gulf (im an empath though cold bloood'd as in immue and available to help) my sister in law trish, sue and jimmy and david, just lost there mum moey.. my dad married moey in the early 80's.. i travelled up to the north west of england in 2023 Twice, trying to locate moey (and other family members) but failed, since then i managed to get hold of trish and she told me two things, 1, thank you for reaching out, and two, that her mum (my step mum) had just died and that the funeral was around sept 13th 2024.. i was like,, well, f...k talk about remorse on steroids..gemma, your such a good person, i love you so much sister ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-smLlf7Ek1oE.html
@Meepsmusic63 I love you brother and I am truly sorry for your loss I know how loss feels as I lost my Nan in Feb this year to heart failure and dementia so iv been feeling lost
