Just like you, stories are everything to me. On this channel I love to analyze some of the most popular movies and tv shows and why they’re great or why they suck. Star Wars will always be my passion, but that doesn’t stop me from talking about Avatar, Marvel, DC, Game of Thrones, and plenty of other franchise. Klaud is my co-host, and together we make the Klaud Squad. As I like to say, let’s Unite The Klaud Squad!
In the novelization, Palpatine sits down with Anakin during the great reveal, and tells him about how they, the Sith know of the same prophecy of the Chosen One, called the Sith'ari legend. Don't forget that he really is all the Sith himself, the one and only after Dooku is dead. He risks everything just so the Sith can get it's dirty hands on the Jedi's Chosen One... As in The Dark Knight, it gives evil a great amount of perverse joy to corrupt someone great and good. It is the ultimate victory the Sith can achieve: even though the same novelization tells us that Sidious wasn't too happy with how the things went on Mustafar. After Anakin's injuries, he treated him as more of a symbol and crown jewel of Sith rule than the Sith "Chosen One" he had hoped for...
If any of us remembers the Jedi Knight (Dark Forces) games, it was treated as a huge decision there to kill: the purer the victim, the bigger the consequences. Murder was a prime sin. Anakin killing Windu was easily enough to push him into a state of Dark Side frenzy, some otherworldly anger that would even keep him alive in the flames... That kind of power was part of the Jedi-lore for a long time: the Dark Side of the Force is a pathway... You know the rest. I also like the Yoda-Dark Side Prophecy fulfilling itself here: Fear leads to Anger, Anger leads to Hate, Hate leads to Suffering...
Be it your way, my Master. I can't resist any longer: you possess the ultimate Prequel-wisdom out there! Your insight into the story structure and characters, not to mention how strong your arguments are have won you a SUBSCRIBER! After 3 videos, the lure of this dark knowledge was indeed great. At last, we will reveal this channel to our friends... At last, we will have fun with these movies!
Man she was a child who had her mom replaced by a girl thay was not only her best friend but the same age as her. If anyones to blame then its either her friend, father, or alicents father as he set them up to begin with. Sure rhaenyra was a but standoffish. But she had every right to be pissed.
And it was Alicent's father's plan from the start to have his grandchildren attain the throne. It was his plan all along. No amount of friendliness from Rhaenyra would have changed that.
@@coolestvideo100Even by Westerosi standard, Rhaenyra is 100% justified to be angry and standoffish, even more so I may add. Because irl normally your best friend rarely becomes your stepmom and your half brothers dont threaten to steal your throne
@@CH-zc8qx normally she wouldn't have gotten it anyway and her being made heir was a move made in desperation. The conditions that existed to give her the throne stopped existing so her legitimacy evaporated and her continued choices (giving birth to bastards, etc) further eroded legitimacy and support, meaning civil war was inevitable unless she stepped down. She IS a villain in this story. Not the only one, but she IS one. The biggest villain was her father who gave in to her infantile demands and desires, damning his kingdom and family to doom and destruction.
Otto technology didn’t do anything wrong, but if he hadn’t told his daughter to comfort the king, then Viserys wouldn’t marry her and started the momentum.
The thing with the Uruk-hai being broken quickly was actually pretty realistic in terms of battles. A surprise heavy cavalry charge down a steep incline directly into your flank would absolutely break your army and be cause for a full retreat, I don’t care who you are.
While Unalaq is the worst Korra villain I personally hate Amon more simply because his goal wasn't actually achievable given HE HIMSELF is living proof depowered Benders can still have bender kids. Not to mention katara and toph both came from non bending parents
The series has no redeeming qualities. A couple of things that really bothered me, aside from the usual gripes about story, writing and no character development, are - Sauron is a human male? Celebrimbor is an old looking elf who's a terrible at his craft? The characters all wear these ill-fitting outfits that make them look like the recent pokemonGO update - amorphous blobs. Most of the armour looks like tea towels that aren't actually protective. I think the fights were meant to look epic, but they look low budget. All this, on top of what you've already mentioned.
Funny how in this DEI infested mess, the relationship that's most engaging, most developed and leaves you wanting to see how it grows further, is between two white male characters. And Adar, the pale male villain is also more interesting than Guyladriel and the ethnically diverse elf.
In rise, Caesar became the political leader of the apes, just like Muhammad was the political leader of the Arabs. In dawn, Caesar is betrayed by a member of his inner circle, appears dead, only to then return. Like Jesus. Is it really any wonder that Caesar became a religious figure to the apes when his actions parallel the most important figures in all three of the abrahamic religions
I've never seen it, and never will. I'll stick with Tolkien and Jackson's works on the real thing. Not woke horseshit that's been a growing cancer in movies/TV for well over a decade.
Korra's show didn’t take the time to flesh out relationships. I think having a different villian each season was a detriment because they wanted to speed run these character dynamics. Honestly Korra had some cool stuff but golly the way the story was written was a fluster cluck.
As a non Star Wars fan who has been watching just to have something light to watch, I really liked Rogue One more than any of the other Disney movies, and that's precisely because of its third act. But I agree about Jyn not being a well developed character and that's why I would love to see a one season series about her previous Rogue One, maybe with the same tone as the Andor series. With more development, her actions would feel less abrupt. Also it makes for a potential to see more of characters like Saw Gerrera and maybe even Enfys Nest (another underused, underdeveloped character but with potential), since it appears that Jyn and Enfys met when they were kids. I love seeing the insight of long time fans, as a kinda newbie on SW 👍
Im gonna say it, The legends of Korra is better than The last Airbender. The last Airbender is targeted for younger audience, that limits what they could have done. The Legends of Korra shows, Vattu, Spirit of Darkness, shows a lot more of bloodbending, the Darkness bending, also introduces Lava bending, Upgraded Metal bending and Void. The fact that in the episode "love lives the queen" shows actual terrifying death is dark. Also The legends of Korra shows us the entire backstory of The avatar.
Important to remember that the exodus from Egypt and the crucifixion of Christ are also themes that are explored in the film war of the planet of the apes. at the very end, Cesar sees the promised land, but does not enter into it himself…
The irony that he gets the virus. I just rewatched it.. his whole plan is sort of delusional because if they all have the virus anyway why does he need to get rid of anything contaminated
I was just watching it and I'll say that I really liked it but it was a little silly seeing Batman calling Alfred on the home phone. Especially while playing the Arkham trilogy and Alfred always has an ear piece ready to be contacted at any second.
So youre saying that in his movie, people who do things face the outcome of their decisions? Just like people do everyday all day in and outside of the cameras? Youre a fuckin philosophical genius i never knew that thats how people naturally reacted. In case you didnt pick you im calling you an idiot for posting a video about bltantly obvious knowledge that everyone knows.
