That's why dispatchers need to be included in after action briefings. Even tho they don't have a visual, what they invision can be tough. We we as FF'ers and EMS show up in person, it's a different type of trauma. Very hard for them on the phone.
This is a job I would not want to do to people that take these phone calls deserve a medal in my opinion for the work that they do, is one of the hardest jobs probably out there and they must take thousands of calls a year like this I have so much respect for them and the work they do❤
I used to take 999 calls - I worked with some of the most amazing people, many of whom are still there. I feel so proud of them. I also feel so, so proud of each of the callers that took action and carried out CPR on either strangers, or their loved ones. Absolute superheroes.
The day you stop caring, thats when your done. Sadly we neer see this, and even sadder, we hit the wall with awful people, the in between is foreshadowed.

Just putting this out there. If u had some minor problem and tried to kill urself, don’t share ur story. Shut up and go on about ur perfect life, cuz anyone with any real issues don’t just opt for death right away and they actually try to die. Too many cry baby’s seeking attention make it impossible for anyone with real issues. I know some people who “tried” to mill themselves just to have the story.

I remember finding my Mum. Her head had a big cut right down the middle. The legs were torn off, hanging to her torso by the stringy bits of gore. She had her hands cut off before being lynched on a cartel execution video. We didn't receive the video in our mail box until her Birthday, four days after she was reported missing. I can never forget, our entire extended family in the living room, jumping up and down in hysterics. The video ended with ten minutes of cartel members playing around, hacking her head open further

I've worked on the frontline for 9 years and witnessed this first hand.. it is a very dark and traumatising experience and the emotions take hold regardless of who you are.. So sad.
The NHS and suicide help lines do fuck all and don't give a shit cuz everyone is careless and selfish and how they can sleep with themselves at night is beyond me a lot of people fake their mental health for attention and clout but for the ones that really need it and are severely drowning are the ones that don't get help up your game NHS people that are saying well done and all this shit shut the fuck up cuz none of you clearly know nothing and you're talking about your husbands and everyone's suicide story where the fuck was you all then when they were feeling this way prolly was more bothered by your own needs and wants and it was prolly all your faults that your loved ones died so yeah yous should hold the guilt
