Hey, I realise this is a major time bump, but I wondered if anyone has an MP3 of the song 'Mr.' which is on the Unplaceables album? I had it on a mixCD growing up and I've been wondering about it for years and just recognised the title today, but no trace of it online apart from on the tracklist :/ would mean so much to me to hear it again after all these years.
When I listen to this song deep emotions look what the Fuck is going on in our World people fighting for their rights people not giving a Fuck about anyone's right they don't even give a Fuck about themselves are anybody else Religion Region Rights. Can't be fooled if this land found peace /love there would be something wrong with that to Mr. Hooker hit it on the head this is Nobody's Land we all will die someday and that will be No more that land of whoever Love and Peace is what we need I fall short on these two things but I do know are world would be a BETTER place but since everyone has to think their going to be here forever no chance to get nothing started Out BS BS and more BS love to hate hate to love when will things change when more people die of a cause that takes away the rights of people keep loving keep hating it will all end and then who is going to give a FUCK✌❤no matter where your from

We lived in the same neighborhood. Right by the Skytrain Station. At times it was overwhelming. Heart breaking. Unfortunately the reason there are les junkies is because of the fentanyl-related deaths..... Homeless population has exploded since I left in 2016.... No end to this horrible trend and everything just keeps getting worse.....
Took a walk in my neighborhood It was two in the morning By the skytrain station The streets were full of junkies and homeless And they all wanted something They all wanted something And what am I supposed to do? There are too many of you Too many of you And sometimes they look you straight in the eye Saying 'I too am human, you could easily be here Easily be here' Although we all hover between apathy and compassion Fill up all our days with so much distraction Whatever makes it easier to see what we don't want to But we all live here We all live here We all live here don't we? Took a walk in my neighbourhood It was two in the morning By the skytrain station
watching the children in this made me grateful my children are safe and speak to me,after i put them through 27 years of heroin, crack, alcohol and cocaine abuse,6 years clean and a lot of hard work, and i will never walk passed anyone on the street without acknowledging their existance ,giving them change or giving them some food,i also work with people who try to house them in abandoned buildings,to give them shelter, clothing and food..i will never forget my life as a junkie
Does anyone else know a song by her that has lyrics something like "I don't want to ask you to walk me home, just leave me alone" or something like that? Been searching for it for years...
Thank you for sounding my teen years)))))) you're so amazing💜💗🦋i lived in a house of all of us ladies. We started a folk band later called, Yasen Marie. Every single time I hear you, it brings back Vortex memories. Thank you for being you. I'm still listening. Years and years later. We would even run out and pet the horses in our neighbors field while we played your music. Wow. You're just wow.
