Hi, my name is Seth Gebel and I grew up in Catawissa, Missouri just outside of St. Louis. I'm very fortunate to have a playground of woods to build whatever I see fit in because Missouri riders don’t get much feature time. I’d love to change that! Hopefully, someday we’ll be able to push a build-along that benefits the public here in St Louis for MTB skills progression. For now, though, I build every weekend and film for you all to watch! ➡️ On this channel, you'll find trail-building videos with music and step-by-step shots that keep you entertained and informed! Builds like road gaps, berms, jumps, drops, trail flow, skinnies, and many others! Combining my love of mountain bikes, woodworking, and creating something from nothing, stick around to see just where my wild mind takes me next! If you love adventures and seeing wild and lofty ideas, come to life, subscribe to my channel for new videos every Sunday at 11 am Central! Hit that bell to never miss a video! 🔔
Your channel has inspired me and some friends to build our own system of trails on our own. After a few weeks of building though, I got a bad poison ivy rash. How do you stay protected from urushoil when building trails?
Grip tape, great idea if you fall on your back 🤣. Make sure to have a few gallons of alcohol 70% with a spray bottle. No, seriously, it looks phucking fun!👍😎
Omg that song, it's one of my favorites. There's just one slight problem, drops at that height are pretty normal in street riding as well so I'd do that with no hesitation thinking "oh cool fun trail some drops gonna be easy" Except that I have no idea how to do jumps at all and I cannot do the rest of that trail at all. Except for that other drop.
Didnt know Timothy Charlamet had a mountain biking youtube channell! Kidding. But seriously best instructional video on the internet that ive seen for manuals. well done dude!
Every time I build a feature at the local dh spot it is removed by the Jessie's when I return,I had a wicked 7ft drop off that took all day to build but was demolished by the wimps overnight 😂
Mught be a dumb question. But why not trying an electric planer to make the flat faces instead of the chainsaw? Or for a finishing pass. Its doesnt remove material as quickly, but the finish can be that buch better, producing stronger joints and making it less receptive to dirt and water
Pro tip. Im a licenced construction professional. Use an 1/2 inch impact gun and the proper socket to tighten those anchors down and check it with a torque wretch to verify proper torque and you drill them deep enough according to manufactures specs
Wow wow wow! This vid is very impressive. Best one I've seen on you tube, so far. From the drone pilot to the 8yr old are all pros! Great job! to everyone of you. Simply awesome!
How did you. get into building trails? Did you start with volunteering at your locals or what? Loved watching all the creativity and skills that go into making fun features. Makes me want to get out and do some trail work.
I'm kinda astounded at those drop cuts. You should be cutting one side to get the factory cut off, aligning that side, attaching it, and then repeating until the end. THEN, and only then, do you make your drop cuts. You will have much more uniform drop and will be able to use them on another ladder area. Also, if you ever need a consultant...I've got load of working knowledge(with references) and won't charge you anything for it unless it becomes a very regular thing...reply to this and I'll dm you elsewhere about it
I got beat by an 11 year old on the Golf course yesterday and I'm 30 and have probably played 300 rounds over the last 5 years haha. I know the feel. Good to see young talent!
