I grew up watching some of the best movies ever made, and as a result, I chose to turn that passion into a filmmaking career.
Throughout my time in the entertainment and media industry, I also realized my passion is in empowering others to recognize their innate ability to make a difference in the world.
I became a social impact influencer and entrepreneur and am committed to using all of my platforms (films and social media) to elevate voices.
I still love watching movies and great TV shows, and I've seen a lot of them. What should I watch next?
It is my hope that you'll experience some enjoyment out of watching my high startle reflexes, silliness, and joy 😂. Thank you for supporting me on this fun ride ✌🏼
The Juxtaposition of that final shot is SO good and tells us everything we need to know about Homelander... In this world where a superhero accidentally kills an innocent, his image is protected. The Deep is a predator. Translucent is just an absolute perverted creep. Homelander, Mr. American flag, is a mix of superman and captain America. The episode does a solid job of trying to trick the audience into think he's above the corruption... Then, in the final minute of the episode, we see him murder a child, and smile about it with Iggy Pop's "The Passenger" playing in the background. "Lets take a ride and see what's mine" Whats Homelander's? The world, so he thinks
Nothing mean..Karate Kid movies, 4, Johnny was the bad bully in 1st and his friends, except Bobby, bullied Daniel , and could have put him in hospital twice, going down the hill, bike could have got him in head, already bleeding, who did that, all of Johnny and friends, not Creese. After water on Johnny, fair after Beach, which wasn't Creese doing to Ali. They didn't let Daniel get over fence, held him 3 to 1 so Johnny could kick him hard over and over, Bobby only one saying Daniel had enough. Johnny said I'll decide when he's had enough, not Creese. Johnny was same jerk at school, and when dancing with Ali because her parents preferred him over Daniel because he was poor. Not Ali's fault, but Johnny kissing her without her accepting, wasn't Creese either, yet your love for Johnny because you met actor in person, is so out of bounds, for goods vs bads. If not for making movie 2 start what should have been end of first, Cobra Kai wasn't even mentioned, movie Miyagi and Daniel, Johnny just bully at beach, new vs Daniel, much better, believe he is who he is, not because other to blame. Then #3 movie, Cobra Kai bringing back loser Creese and his army buddy billionaire...but not those Cobra Kai guys you love, including Johnny, never mentioned again. Then Tommy " Get him a body bag" who not like Bobby, bullied Daniel. But your reaction to them coming back, all they did wasn't Creese telling them to, Bobby and Johnny listened to him hurting Daniel in knee so bad maybe never the same after and Tommy laughing. Don't know why reasons your mental health got bad was, but now choosing bads over food shouldn't be healthy doing. Johnny named it Cobra Kai in first episode of series, Creese not close doing anything yet, his friends were shocked he did that, but your Johnny, can't do anything wrong. I wish you the best mental healthy, just wondering why, can't be just meeting him, your words, didn't search online.
If I only get one word, that word has to be pretty broadly applicable. Also it’s October 2024. But a single word answer would be “better”. My one-word answer for 2024 is kind of a protest choice about limiting myself to one word. That one word is “nuanced”.
Thanks for the reaction! I loved the beginning of this film setting the mood. Definitely a great one. Hope they make more like this. The Nolan ones are still #1 for me but love something different!
Wow, that was interesting! She liked the movie, but didn't seem to get a single thing about it! Each main plot point seemed to go right past her: That the monolith must be an alien creation, that it increases the intelligence of the hominids and teaches them to use tools, that they gain the ability to kill animals for food, but also to kill other hominids; the connection between that beginning of technology and the jump to space tech; that the second monolith on the moon has obviously been placed there by the same alien intelligence; that digging it up sets off some kind of alarm signal; that the third monolith orbiting around Jupiter has been placed there by the same aliens; that Bowman is transported through it; that the fourth monolith again accelerates his evolution to a new level; and that he returns to Earth at the end. Just missed all of them! But still enjoyed it.
The only original ( I think) main Cobra Kai that didnt make it back was Dutch who confronted Daniel in the locker room at the tournament...Chad McQueen son of legendary actor Steve McQueen. Chad just passed away Sept 11 of this year.
I recently got done re-reading 2001, and reading 2010, 2061, and 3001. In the "Dawn on Man" in the book, the main character, Moonwatcher, is developed a lot more. And the panther(?) or whatever it is -- is a MUCH bigger part of the story. It regularly picks up a kinsman every couple of days. When Moonwatcher first thinks to move a scavenged antelope(?) kill up to his high-cliffside cave, the panther follows the blood that evening. However Moonwatcher and one of his mates desperate to protect their offspring fight back until the panther flees in confusion, as nothing had ever fought back somewhat effectively before. Moonwatcher's cave was further up on the cliff than the panther had ever gone before, and in fleeing, misjudged its leaping elevation and fell to its death. Moonwatcher affixes the beast's head to his bone club to confront the "Others" at the water hole.
It only gets better in season 3, 4 and 5. The jury is still out on Season 6, wasn't too impressed with the beginning so far. Hopefully it improves in parts 2 and 3. I mean breaking it into 3 parts is bad enough, when the show used to drop all at once on Netflix.
The "Cobra Kai" mentioned by Daniel is from "The Karate Kid Part III", not "...Part II" in Okinawa, not Japan BTW. "Tommy" was the one who yelled "Put him in a Body-bag!", so he ended up in one...
Don't know why you're trying to explain all this she already knows. This reaction is actually a re-upload from 2 years ago. This is not a new reaction she stopped reacting to cobra kai after season 3 and never continued
25 mins in did you notice the name on the boxes in the freezer where they trained? It was daniels sort of new friend at the apartments. His shirt had 2 piggies doing it (with silly little grins on their faces) and it said maken bacon. Then they practice there where it's all frozen meat with his last name on the boxes. (My friend had that same shirt in 7th grade - they made her dad bring up another shirt for her)
Johnny got his 2nd chance in life with restarting Cobra Kai and with having Miguel after having failed with Robby. So he wants to give Kreese that 2nd chance like he had.
She already knows all this it is not a new reaction lol ..... this is actually a re-upload from 2 years ago. She stopped reacting to cobra kai a long time ago after season 3 and never continued. Don't know why she is re uploading old reactions
Well... to me its a Hollywood version of a book called Dune. This whole 'adaptation' covers 60% of the plot, dropped multiple key characters, totally changed some others, changed the original plot drastically (some parts just lost their entire meaning or got absolutely twisted) and even mixed multiple characters into one grotesque alterego. So... I saw both movies in cinema, was a visual orgasm as expected, I respect it but not going see it again. I understand the hype, the cast was phenomenal but to me it felt like they just butchered one of my favorite things and expecting me to join the crowd and clap to that. Its my personal experience, so no offense and respect.
The mechanical shark worked fine in freshwater, but not in the ocean. It kept breaking down. By harpooning the shark with yellow barrels attached allowed the audience to know when the shark was coming. Between the music and the barrels, the audience was kept terrified.
Hal isn't actually evil. He just made a HUGE mistake because of being kept in the dark about the true purpose of the mission. However you need to see the sequel, "2010: The Year We Make Contact", to find that out. Not in the same league as 2001 but still a pretty good film.
I watched your reaction long ago, but I came back to watch it again because You had the most genuine, infectious laugh at the comedic points in this episode, and sometimes it’s just nice to share a laugh with someone….
The ape costumes were amazing. And yet... The film "Planet of the Apes" also came out in 1968. Both were put up for the Oscar for costuming. Guess who won for best costume design?
