Little ironic to me how they wanted to push sylas into bruiser so bad just to have him still go primarily damage based stuff. Dont feel like they really leaned into it as hard as they shouldve if that was the goal.
Hard agree, I get the intention behind those changes but they had to realize they basically didn't change the healing portion at all, right? They're just killing assassin more and more which is fine usually but If Sylas is meant for Mid you can't push it too hard since bruiser sylas can't lane against some mages (ex: Syndra, Hwei, etc...) I doubt he's going to get changed again but definetly feels awkward, you're an assassin and bruiser hybrid still leaning into an assassin more than a bruiser and that will be the case until they either change his kit a bit or just add %HP damage modifiers, or even like the old E shield might come a long way as well...
@@PetriciteLoL they rearranged his numbers the first time while nerfing other things, then just kept going down in damage without accounting for anything else. I like the idea of the shield coming back tho. I also feel this is partly a problem with ap items as a whole not being well catered to bruisers. So it doesnt give sylas much incentive to build that way either.
@@ayy-din9116 That is also true, no item for him works really well, his best items Lich, Rocket, Cosmic all don't really play into what he wants to do, it feels like he should utilize HP items but If you don't build Lich they your damage goes significantly so you're forced to build it and Riftmaker should be good on paper but does no damage since he still plays into burts more than surviving and AH. Everfrost answered most of those problems and even helped Q max a lot but I doubt we're gonna see something like that again
I like the game is different, it is still hard to tell much with Sylas as meta hasn't been set in yet and won't in the first week but I think he'll be fine
Depends on what build you go but you can feel it in most builds Lich Bane losing 5 even kinda sucks since that's your main source of damage amp and going Rocket > Cosmic > Rift is one choice but you literally deal no damage If you do so that's kinda not possible as well
Yoo great content on sylas. However, is it just me or does the game seem a bit laggy, I mean it says 144 fps mostly, maybe its the video or im seing ghosts
Ermmm I mean maybe, I haven't seen laggy sides but there could've been some parts going crazy due to editing software going glitchy but I'm glad you enjoyed it :D <3

I've done it in some games as third or forth though most of my games don't even go that long so nothing worthy to upload on RU-vid. I would say I think it's pretty good although I also kinda don't like building stuff that's going to get destroyed next patch/split since raw AP won't be as good anymore

Ehh I tried it a bit but with Q max overall your carry potential is really low so I would only do it matchups where you know for a fact you won't be using your W almost ever
I got shit on by an Ezreal mid. It's unbelievable how unplayable it felt. You can't win burst nor extended trades, he beats you early game with his passive and he outscales you because he's an adc.
@@katsu9738 oh yeah lmao basically every adc champ feels really bad but honestly surprisingly I haven't played against Ez mid this season, I know some pro players used to but it's dying down for sure
Yeah someone else mentioned it a bit ago, I changed it now during stream though might take a bit to reflect on youtube as I already have some games I wanted to upload before I changed the volumes
I think Grasp just overall is better in Top Lane and I think Conq is very viable as well just very matchup dependent as its CDR hungry and you won't have a bunch of it until mid game which is pretty bad for 1v1s in Top Lane. In mid it depends, it's really good like against battle-mages like Vlad and some other that I'll mention in my guide which should be done. I tried a full CDR build with Conq and Sorc giving me 33 CDR from just runes which worked fine but does need scaling but I think next split is gonna be better for bruiser Sylas overall.
@@xyz-zd8ur there's a matchup tier list in my Discord server if you were interested since there's a "Dodge" category do any of that but just to name few I'm banning in high elo: Taliyah/Ryze/Yas is mainly it but that's very high elo skewed. Cass/Zoe will do the trick usually
can you lower the game sound next time pls? sometimes is very hard to understand what you are saying (its not hate in case you read it that way) feels better with the face cam xd
@@Vajar-10 Depends on the build, I sometimes go lucid while I have conq although most of the time Tabi or Mercs are a lot better depending on enemy as CC really counters you hard. While Elec though I go Sorcs like 80% of the time but yeah of course :D!
Bro idk the most build for me if i want to guaranteed the win is ( roa and cosmic and rift maker and rocketbuild and hourglass ) with conquer what do u think? If i play vs all squchies i take lichban and rocketbuild with domination tree ! What do u think ?
ROA I actually dont mind but only against really bad matchup I go into as of recently, Rocket into hourglass sounds okay altough youre gonna lack so much damage, I would do at least Cosmic second as Zhonya is mainly a good third item but just gives raw AP on paper. I also go almost Electrocute every game but Conq is very much viable, I think it's a preference thing so whatever feels better for you. I will say, I just go either Lich or Rocket rush into Rocket or Lich so I build those 2 items no matter what (unless Im going ROA build).
@@PetriciteLoL Cool, i still like resolve better than sorcery but it still nice tho. Also building rocketbelt into lichbane instead of cosmic drive been giving me better result lately. Is Rocket+lichbane first is better than Rocket+cosmic drive in your opinion?
@@xdgameon8454 With Electrocute 100%, with Conq it depends, I think Cosmic second might be a bit better tbh If youre running Conq but depends what you need that game, bust damage or sustained damage.
I mean honestly you could but I havent tried Elec against Garen Top but I did play Grasp against some Garen Tops and its very consistently good into them, just always trade with Grasp, and trades become really you favored. Could do Liandry into Shojin but thats kinda pereference but its mathematically the best build with Grasp, Rocket rush still would work though. I would do Grasp -> Demolish -> Bone Plating/Second Wind -> Overgrowth into either Precision or Sorcery with PoM or Mana Flow so it helps with mana problems some !
I''ve been really enjoying your videos man, I love Sylas, one of my most played champs. What do you usually do against super tanky teams though? I find getting into late game is tough especially against someone like cho gath building full hp
Yoo Im happy to hear :D I'm glad you're enjoying the videos!! If there is like 3+ Bruisers/Tanks I go either Conq or Grasp is also decent and just better in lane but Conq scales better overall. I honestly would still do Rocketbelt into Lich or even Cosmic but If you want the most tank killer build it would be something like Liandry -> Shojin/Cosmic -> Rift but the most optimal way to play him at least in high elo is just a sudo-assassin so I dont go that often. Grasp and Liandry is very legit though I would recommend !

I'm glad! If youre going against Garen Top I actually like Grasp a lot as well and you basically win every fight If you kite his E out after, kinda becomes unfair for him. But yeah I was thinking of making a guide, I'm actually working on it and should release it at least this week for sure! I'll notify in my discord or I'll just add in the discription of videos when its done though!!
