Might actually pick this up, I like cycling in the forest every once in a while and need something I can take in my small car. But this looks nice man!
"Everyone says it's dead and it's not, look" had me in stiches. Sorry, I'm a bit dim. I'd love some successor to the G90, or the G100... or both in one. They know some are calling for compact MFT camera, but I'm afraid it's not high on their priority list.
@@BenFox01 Man, the biggest and most important thing I can say about it is... It's just been FUN ! Most fun I've had with a camera in a while. I think one of the MAIN reasons that provides the fun is, the Lumix Lab app. The way they have that app designed, it's ease of use, the features of the app, and the ability to transfer LUTS to camera, adjust luts, create your own luts, stack luts, just makes the camera SO fun. I wake up, look thru the app, find a LUT that looks cool, beam it to the camera in seconds, then I go out and try it. Just a fun process. I personally think the Sigma 45mm 2.8 is the best lens for it, but I haven't bought it yet, so I have just been shooting with the Lumix 50mm 1.8 and have been loving it. Getting great results. Hit my page and peep the video "LUMIX XPan Mode" -Thanks for your time man.
Dude! Thank you! Love your channel! Beautiful pics 😍 and I’m the same- ITS ALL ABOUT FUN!- So thanks for your insight and recommendation! Can’t wait to play with one :)
Agreed. Compact and lightweight is what brought me to micro four thirds. Kodak pixpro are selling well in Japan and I don't think it's because they have the latest and best technology in them. They're super compact lightweight and colourful.
We've been begging for a "GM6" forever, I eventually caved and got an E-P7. It's not nearly as small, an EVF would be welcome, and I'd much prefer some more "advanced" (essential by today's standards really) features in the menu system... but, I'm very happy with it. I would have happily paid an extra $150 to have less firmware features hammered out. All the tech is there and fits and Oly/Pan still seem to be trying to target that segment (with strange approximated choices), yet we get the S9 instead... The formula seems so simple, just get a GM5 and make it the minimum size larger to fit a current sensor and ibis. I'll straight up preorder one.
We need a DAMN GX10, with m43, at least 25mpx and compact and solid body, I CAN EVEN BYPASS THE WHOLE WEATHER SEALED THING, but THAT'S what we need, the perfect x100 killer
Yes i think we all agree , we want a GX9ii or a PEN-F ii , for less than £1000, my opinion is the best you can do right for an EDC is the Olympus EP-7 (on offer at OM for £550) , only 337g (about half the weight of my G9) , pancake lenses such as the Oly 14-42 ,(93g) Panny 12-32 f3.5 (70g) , Lumix 35-100 f4 (135g) , any primes such as the Panny 20mm f1.7 , oly 17mm f1.8 , oly 45mm f1.8 , so you have a carrying camera under 500g , and around 200g in your pocket , thats what M43 is for me.
I tried S9 in store. Wouldn't go closer to it than 2 meters and even then wearing protective suit. IIRC it has ONE dial and what, 5 buttons? At that point it's the same as any point and shoot. Coming from Sony A7C2 where I have 4 dials on the body itself, let alone 3 or 4 reassignable buttons next to a arrowpad + bunch of controls on lenses I have no idea why would anyone go for S9? Shooting on AUTO? Maybe. But then.. Maybe just phone is good enough?
Seriously dude!? U do realise I was going to buy that camera in our native homeland? 🇯🇵 Intriguing.... You've also reminded me to do my DuoLingo! Arigato
@@BenFox01 maybe picture quality is really good or something, but from holding it I'd say - reconsider. I was struggling with my A6600 when I had only 2 dials. I do shoot photos though, if you're getting it for video, it might be different. Realistically only aperture nad iso needs to change, but.. idk. Try out in the store
@@vandalpaulius Absolutely. I need to get my hands on it! Then I will know... There always something instinctive about holding a camera in your hands... Like your own manhood.
Good to hear you're doing well Ben and pursuing what you want. Your scooter videos were key in plentys decision making a few years ago. I always loved your comedic side, seeing you do what you enjoy other than the scooter videos. I do think scooters aren't as popular as they become during covid, I think you would find a better niche you love to pursue elsewhere for sure. Hopefully your game does well, it is inspiring to see you pursue multiple things and seek what works for you, than what is most financially beneficial. Keep being you, you're a top lad!
Lowenbrau. Wow, there's a beer I have not had for at least 30 years. Long time sober now tho, but sometimes I miss it. Random comment triggered by the beer. lol
@@BenFox01 My NIU KQI3 Max just arrived last week. Fighting an ear infection so haven't been about to get out on the road so so spending plenty of time buying accessories. Hah.
Na it will be low power crap which can't go up hills which is everywhere in UK, I got 1000watt single motor and it struggled on some it was restricted but I also restricted it to 75%power so I could be in the 15.5mph bracket, most peeps do pavement and pedestrians are king you stop and give way to them can't say the same about epacs drivers with headphones on oblivious to there surroundings can't here other people or horns from other vehicles isn't that driving without due care or attention, escooters should be allowed 15 on pavement and speed limit on road or to what lesser speed your escooter can do wattage should not be part of law all it does is give it more grunt the speed is done by the amount of power you release to it,
