Hello ma’am, love your result! I recently tried to dye my 4C natural hair with henna but my hair didn’t dye. I was going for the same colour as yours. I didn’t let the mixture sit as I followed the instructions on the box i.e add boiling water and apply when it’s cool. Also, I washed my hair with shampoo after I washed out the henna. Mind you I let the henna sit in my hair overnight but my hair was still black Could it be that it’s mandatory to get the colour transition if you let it sit and don’t wash out with shampoo? Thanks for your advise
Was your hair dark brown before you first started to dye it with henna? I have dark brown (almost black) hair, and based on my research the henna may not show?
Jamila Henna Lemon Juice and peppermint oil then I go up under a dryer for as long as I can and then I keep it in overnight and rinse at Sunrise ☺️ I do this once a week to grow my afro ..after I rinse I massage my scalp to get the best hair oil EVERRRRR coming ...my sebum 🥰🥰😍🤩... I use my sebum after my henna ... And it's awesome 🫰🏽‼️
Every time I want to do henna I choose this video over every video on youtube! Yes, your video is informative for sure! You are beautiful and your henna turned out beautifully! That is a great color on you!
I haven’t tried heat with the henna. I apply the henna once a month. I let it sit overnight before applying it to my hair. Then I let it sit on my hair for about 4 hours.
OMG!!!....my hair is popping!!!...super easy. I wash my 4b/c hair almost everyday or every other day because I sweat a lot and do exercise snd a quick and simple routine is a most. I used tresemme conditioner and sit under the dryer...perfection
@@ANaturalHype thank you dear my gal had very beautiful curly black hair but now it looks bad loosing curls and becoming brown i dont understand why..Love you
I leave my henna to marinate for about 4-6 hours and I use coffee or black tea to mix the powder. I also wrap my hair in a damp towel, wrap thst with Saran Wrap and create a “steam” conditioning treatment for about 6 hours. 🤷🏾♂️
Hey sis, try switching the coconut oil to shea butter or Chondrus Chrispus powder - or both. Coconut oil actually prevents it from binding as well. Your dye still came out great, so it might just last longer if you try out the other way.
I don’t think it’s the products but the technique. I have video showing my technique. But it’s basically making sure my hands are wet with the product. I do this with any product.
Thank you so much for this video!!! I was getting tired of covering my grey lately and started to repel the idea of putting chemicals on my hair. I gave up on henna after failing once but after I saw your thumbnail pic of beautiful color& curls, I decided to give it a try again (even purchased the same exact product from the same Indian store! Lol) It worked beautifully and I know I will continue this journey of self care💗Save me so much $ and it feels great to use something natural for my hair. Next time I’ll try out Indian hair oils you mentioned. Thank you so much🥰🥹✨✨✨
I love your hair color in this video!!! I see that you use 100% natural henna for your reddish color in other videos but here it looks lighter brown? Did you do anything differently for this color?
Love all your videos ! I did have a question . I’m using the same henna powder brand as you and color . It’ll be my first henna . I bought aloe Vera juice for the mixing process. Should I use Just the henna and aloe Vera juice or should I add water too the powder and aloe Vera juice mixture as well?
That’s a really good question. I have used aloe Vera and hot water before. But lately I have been just using hot water and my hair is lasting longer. Maybe u should use the aloe as a deep conditioner? Instead of mixing with the powder?
@@ANaturalHype okay well my hair could use a really good deep conditioner at this point . So do I just eye how much water and aloe Vera to add the first time ?
I think it would trial and error because you have to determine how light or dark you want it. I buy mine already mixed together but I don’t like how dark it makes my hair.
I’ve not come across someone on RU-vid with the exact same type of hair I have and I mean exact great videos by the way I’m looking to start using henna hence why I found you.
This is the reason why I'm so into ayurvedic myself. My health issues weren't let my hair be great and I started using powders and or herbs in conditioner and making my own shampoos, etc. Immediately, it stopped my scalp irritations, thinning & shedding issues. Ayurvedic hair-care is definitely the way go when other products fail.
I LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE this video!!!! Thank you. I love the red-brown color that henna gives me. I thought that I was the only one not wanting to use henna to color grey to black and instead using henna for color. Brava!!!
I just stumbled along your channel. I must say you are very beautiful! Your face, your hair and your spirit is glowing, sis. Enjoying your videos. Thank you😃
I watched this video 5xs over the course of a year😂I’m very serious about this and want to make sure I’m doing the right thing. Trying this weekend thanks to you!!!🥰
