that's not just talent, not just hardwork. I can see this guy "feeling" the author while playing, like those notes are what allows him to feel what chopin was feeling while composing this. This guy is not just a machine who plays perfectly, but a mere human with a huge sensibility, and that's why this is the best intepretation of this piece i've ever heard. Because there is feeling more than just playing.
His performance was immaculate. I do sense that it was rushed! I suspect there is more to hear from this young man than meets the ear. This piece needs a few more "breathing" spaces. l
I'm watching this while waiting my valorant to queue. At the first 25 second of this video I think I can also do that piano thing, but after that, I decided to continue playing valorant
In Chopin’s days there were a thousand others who also played the piano, only here in Europe. Chopin lived in the time when the virtuoso play aroused admiration. Virtuosity requires practice over many years, only a few reached such a level. Therefore, it must be embarrassing for pianists who practice whole beat tempo today to see that childre, aged 7-12, play Chopin’s etudes faster themselves. It shows us that whole beat practice for Chopin’s etudes cannot possibly be the historically correct pace.
Asians are screwed people. It's beyond my understanding how a 12y/o is playing this perfectly when pro pianists aren't able to play this and 12y/o here are just too lazy
