I think Pt. Nikhil Banerjee's sound is more deep to heart when compared to Pt. Ravishankar; and this is most probably because Ma Annapurna Devi taught him and her students in a more complete way, which I feel Pt. Ravishankar deviated or missed it. #
His voice is as sweet as his playing... His playing is totally different from other musicians from his gharana...!! Not only me but I think many of Indian Classical Music listeners absolutely love his playing!!! This video, in particular, is absolutely gold mines for all Indian Classican musicians...!!
