And he had bought a "Iconic" Swedish Rally car a yellow Volvo 240, it has been a rallycar for about 35- 40 years and done things people remember people about.... And he is doing this events like you did now, and people playing him around 500$ for going a stratch of "rally stage" about 4 kilometers round and back, a "flat out drive" just to give a experience to people...and if you wanted your name on the car I think it was 1000$ (for anyone, normal people or miner companys) their name on the car roof, and a drive at the same session! Bigger companies didnt he say any prices about but think about from 2500$ and up their names exposed on the car in different sizes.... and with that also doing alot of talking and in the price also had food, like "catering" food..... And he rebuild his yellow Volvo 240 until this year and (ok, this is not anything they talk about) but only the rebuild of the engine would be around 25000- 35000$ only for the engine, driving in Swedish "top" 2 wheel- drive category... So I think with right exposure you could make it that way, to help your business now.... Good luck!

What are you running for tuning? You are beyond what opensid can handle right? You are still using a stock t5 dic or is it gutted with COP hidden inside. Red high temp RTV is the best gasket for turbo manifolds. Been doing it for years.

Sick man! quick question my B204 has issues since yesterday. Coolant expansion tank completely empty. When undoing cap slowly pressure relieves and some coolant gets back in the tank which later dissapears again after minutes. already filled 1.7L water and still the tank is empty. No signs of leaks. It did lose coolant under the hood at the expansion tank. No smoke out of the exhaust an during the drive back to home 150km with empty expansion tank the water temp needle stayed in the middle. It does misfire like hell now. Headgastket or any other ideas?

ok so im a real crayon brain- i have a 700 plus hp 1st gen neon. i bought it built. i know i have pushed coolant on occasion. i always assumed this was going to result in a blown head gasket and pulling the motor apart. i assume i am correct and that it still is, but you are making it sound like on a studded motor like mine, coolant over flow draining and coolant system bleeding are just a normal part of life for some. please give me some insight into the habits of high hp studded motors and coolant over flow.
If you are pushing coolant you're usually just lifting the head and the gasket isn't fully blown, it just leaks under high cylinder pressure. Push it hard for long enough and it will burn the gasket and then it will be blown completely. For street cars, lifting the head is sometimes no biggie because of short pulls. But on a race car lifting the head causes all sorts of problems because there's no letting up.

Small steps in manifolds to Cyl head is 'Anti Reversion' tech. Many builders make serious effort to include that. You have had No problems with ARP studs 'Sealing' the oil galleries of Cyl Bolts # 7 & 8 ??. I have a problem with that. Interesting about the Red RTV. I have had serious problems in the past with red RTV. Albeit on Yama TZ 2stroke Factory proddy racers. Fuel in the 2 stroke exhaust turned the Red RTV into runny jello within a half hour of run time. Mustn't be any raw fuel getting to the RTV in your engines ?.
I absolutely love this channel just because it's a niche platform to make a race car from. I'm based in Wrexham, Wales. I've followed almost all of your experience with these. I have a Vauxhall Cavalier (opel vectra A) I want to put a B204 or B234 in. Do you still use the tronic 5 and the t7 mod? What dash do you use and who tunes it for you? Would love to know your thoughts on B204 or B234 benifit and drawbacks. I'm led to believe it's just the crank stroke so a stroker?
Just stroke, same bore. 2.0L is better suited for RPM for obvious reasons (balance, piston velocity etc.) 2.3L makes more torque. For a "moderate" street build i would personally go with a 2.3L, but depends on what you prefer and what your goals are.
@@willelidl nothing crazy just a gt2871r setup around 400bhp would suit me fine. That would be more than fun drivability wise. I have no plans to track or drag race.
I found out that the aircraft sealant from permatex is actually made for sealing fuselages, not engines. You can use whatever you want with a vfr gasket but I use rtv because it's easy to clean between rebuilds, cheap, and works.
I know it takes time but can you do a complete start to finish every bolt and process to rebuild a transmission I w only seen 2 vids on the net so far would be nice to have a complete vid😊
Not understanding the Point of the Rant. Cdn economics have been sketchy for over a decade . No news there and the reason those Brave enough.. are leaving. Current regime's foolish Wastage & Taxations have made surviving in this country ..notably worse. im sure your aware of this- total value of all derivatives is conservatively 586 trillion, and liberally 1- 2 quadrillion. that's 30x or so global wealth. nomura managed about 20 trillion. nomura also owned the toxic assets from Lehman and aig, which they purchased from chase for 2 dollars.
can i ask how you got your cams to work. i have a set of enem 268 cams but every time i put them in it runs terrible. i was told not tuning needed and no cam adjustment needed just drop them in and go but it does not idle. did you have to do any tweaking to get it to run right? im wondering if they were ground wrong or something
