Nice to see someone making this kind of RPM on T5 still, i would be interested in something more basic (since not many of us have a 700hp b204, mines stock still) maybe something like tips and tricks or just basic but correct mapping. Keep em coming!
Sick video bro , i was wondering how it could be done on a T5 setup heard storys and ideas but you've actually gone an done it lol . Everyone tells me to go after market ecu but don't think ill have to now haha , repect dude . Would you ever consider selling some of them beautiful vented head gaskets with fire rings you use , id love to buy a few off you man
T5 is more than enough if you know what you are doing. I need more gaskets myself for spare engines, so I can make extras if we can get a group buy going... Many have asked
you got a file for the gaskets? would get in on the group buy idea but might as well be cheaper to machine them here than to ship it to finland... @@RHBTurbochargers
Gaskets are now up on the RHB site: rhbturbochargers.ca/collections/secret-parts/products/saab-b204-b205-b234-b235-vfr-head-gasket I have a half dozen in the works
what does this engine needs for a stand alone ecu? Is there any place to mount a cam sensor? I bet Di cassete will gone for a set of coils? Add a Knock sensor ?Have anyone done this?
There is no real reason to replace trionic, but yes it can be done. DI Casette will need to be replaced with coils, knock sensors can be mounted to the engine block since it has many factory mounting points. Also a trigger wheel is needed on the crankshaft, probably it is possible to use factory crank sensor/trigger wheel. If standalone ecu needs cam signal, a distributor from B234i can be modified to mount cam sensor.
This sounds very interesting . As i remember di box outpouts signals for tdc in pairs like 1-4 and 2-3? Nice to hear someone is using di cassete with a standalone @@flo234r2
