This is actually an interesting setup for the Great Katana. Glad to see a Keen setup for this weapon is just as deadly. If I was to change your build, I'd change out Godfrey Icon for Bullgoat Talisman, and get Millicent's Prosthesis to replace Prosthesis Wearer. If you want to add more incantations, add Electrify Armament and Bloodflame Blade. Electrify Armament damage can scale with Dext. An Ash of War that would work with your build is Savage Lion's Claw, but I'll give you some bonus points for using Double Slash. You instead get Bullgoat Talisman from Dragonbarrow Cave, which is not tied with the Recusant's Quest line.

Great guide, thanks! Just one thing, when you are at feasts and perks, it would be great to give it also some guide - which ones to use more, which ones to use less, not just to read them. But still, nice guide, great combos!:)
I only started playing for honor on PC a while ago so I hate trying to dodge on there but I used to play on xbox before rework and that, I have now found a way to kill a player without losing all my stamina and not being hit, it works 87%of the time
Too anyone new to for honor, understand that parry’s take precision timing… even if you have the fastest internet in the world, you have half a second to react… Having bad internet/ping.. being on anything besides PS5/Series X or PC your going to have input delay… depending on what tv you have… it’s only worse… If you have an older flat screen tv, bad internet/low ping cause of servers or an older/cheaper platform…. Your timing goes from .5 seconds to .3 Don’t be frustrated… I play everyday, and still suck… it just be like that… not only do you have to learn your characters combos.. you have to learn to block multiple players at a time, fake attacks… properly guard break… it’s a lot… just focus on one thing and master it before focusing on everything else… I definitely recommend playing a basic ass hero.. like warden… it gets extremely boring especially if your not very good with them, but not having 10 different combos.. gives you more opportunities to focus on your defense/offense… Trying not to rant or make a fatty paragraph… but a big beginner mistake… is mass comboing… when you spam attacks and bash’s.. your opponent quickly learns your play style… its just as important if not MORE Important to time your attacks… A guard break is a guaranteed heavy, some attacks can be feinted into instant guard breaks.. making it extremely difficult to react too… Or block, learn their pattern and parry into combos The only time you’d really EVER go for a light parry… is when it’s obvious they’re going to light.. like 50% of characters had really fast lights… and just as fast heavies… it’s best to block, and assume it’s a heavy unless you know they spam light
Iinstead of the winged sword insignia i use the godfrey icon to boost the charge of the skill. I like flame spear more myself, i like having a bit of a range attack.
There are 2, a boss helmet and the fire knight captain that protects his chamber, the chest piece also increases the skill as well. I love this build, it's nasty in pvp
@@TheGamingRaptor_ yh i know you need the medallions but pointing at a map and saying go there with no direction at all isn't very helpful its basically just me pointing at a map and saying go there without telling you how to actually get there
Good video. I'm also roleplaying as a fire knight and around the same level at ng+3. But I'm keeping my dex at 80 so I can utilize the great katana with the ash of war, just to have some options. Probably missing out on some damage with the great sword but still a good a Weapon.
