Talking about how fast time goes. I’m sitting listening to this as my oldest is at her college orientation here at Colorado State. It goes soooooo fast. Be present and enjoy every moment. 26:00
Same observation actually. Prior to buying a Peg 40, I tried a 41 at a Nike store. For me it really lacks cushioning at the forefoot during toe offs. Like my toes are really really touching the ground. Same impression my wife said when she tried a 41, she currently has a 40. Not sure if its because the ReactX foam compressed too much on that part or a difference in the rocker. Something I dont feel in the Peg 40.
Imagine my surprise this am, when I jumped on the elliptical for my normal Monday routine, which includes a BITR drop, and the guest was Nick!!! Given I’ve followed him since b4 BITR, it was like finding a few bucks, or a whiff of spring flowers during a run. Gotta say….Robbe was having a PA bromance there 😉 Enjoyed the podcast (and Robbe’s studio)…felt low key and conversational.
This podcast could of been way more epic. Nick has way more stuff to talk about and more topic about running and how he trains and the nutrition plans.. oh well next time…
Of course we get Nick Bare on a day where our studio is being rehabbed, Thomas and Meg are in NYC with podcast equipment, and kids had to come home from school early, relegating me to my basement (where I was still interrupted twice, thanks to Karl for the seamless editing). Nevertheless, one of the best convos I've had on The Drop, and Nick couldn't have been more gracious. Thanks for watching! - Robbe
What a power move Robbie! Nick sits down and gets all ready in his nice studio. Thomas to Robbie, you want to use our nice studio? Nah, ill use my laundry room and old laptop😂
Im totally indifferent of the guy but he’s has controversy as to whether he’s natty or not, that he sold his nutrition, supplements, and hard work/discipline to the public while dabbling in other things if you catch my drift
Natty or not, the work still has to be done to get results. Whether he is or isn't I'd be willing to bet most people wouldn't put in the work it takes to accomplish all the things. Just my 2 cents.
Could there be a relationship between the how great puma grip is and the bottom of your feet getting hot? Better grip means more friction, and friction creates heat. Just a science teacher wondering...
i'm rocking the peg 40 but this seems so tempting. i just don't get why they don't sell it here in Israel\Middle East yet! how long would it be worldwide sold?? like is it months now? or weeks?
I have had the foot pain in a number of carbon plated shoes. Sometimes just changing the lacing for more forefoot space does the trick, but shoes like the Adios Pro 2 and Fast-R 1 will just hurt regardless after a certain number of miles.
