i honestly thought that ultra c would certainly surpass this song and become my new kohane comm but honestly, after over rad squad and seeing my babies finally surpass rad weekend, i found myself crying over this song.. realize is so uplifting and positive that i ended up crying because of hapiness. i never thought i would get so attached to vbs to get to that point (esp considering vbs is only my 3rd fav unit) but im just so proud that i couldnt care less. i love kohane, i love her voice, i love her character development, i love this song.
Indeed. I'm glad they've started to make it a habit to release the full versions right after their respective events end so we shouldn't have to wait for several months.
YOOOOOOOOOOOO THE FULL VER IS SO PEAK!!! KOHANE'S VOCALS ARE SOOOOO YUMMY.. Save me Kohane.. and all the AkiKoha lines made me jump for joy. Defo one of my fav VBS songs ever
Not gonna lie, I feel like SEKAI tuning gets a fair bit of hate because ColoPale actively tries to tune away from realism and it's spotty how well they actually pull it off. Though I generally tend to be a fair bit more positive towards their tuning than other folks, I still feel like there's been a noticeable increase in quality with this year's releases. But Batsubyou here, I think, really shows the potential of this approach. Luka sounds extremely inhuman on this song, particularly in her solos, and yet incredibly fluid and expressive. It reminds me of some of the things I've heard people doing with Adachi Rei. I'm hopeful for them to continue to polish the NT voicebanks and software. AI tuning can sound incredible (I'm hoping to get my hands on the full version of SynthV myself when I have some spare cash because I've been having so much fun just with the free version), but for me the promise of vocal synthesis has always been in doing things that a human voice simply can't match instead of trying to emulate human vocals. Traditional vocal synthesis would really benefit from having quality software continuing to innovate in that space, and I really hope that someday the Crypton NT voicebanks can lead.
i see a lot of people talking about how this song is about a girl who is abused and no longer wants to be in that relationship, and like probably? that's probably the intended meaning. i've always interpreted it as someone being in a relationship that Seems abusive to people around them, and the singer doesn't actually want to leave and is mad at the people around them for trying to get them help. what reason would an abuse survivor have to say "shut up and obey me?" it makes more sense if they're saying that to someone they don't want to do something (like call the police or smth)
Oh my god, I remember how I really wanted this song in sekai. I've quit that game a long, long time ago, but I'm glad it's finally here moreover with my fav unit
