Now I want to see where The Clone Wars premiere movie and the Star Wars Holiday Special would rank for Lord Dagoth. And maybe the book Splinter of the Mind's Eye, since that was based on early story concepts of the second Star Wars movie before Empire Strikes Back solidified in Lucas's mind Perhaps also the Thrawn Trilogy, or as they're also known--a fact the mongrel dogs of Disney have tried to hide from you--the ORIGINAL sequel trilogy.
"i truly believe there is no greater argument for the extermination of all human races than the existence of this film" i'm dying (and deservedly so because i didn't stop Rise of Skywalker)
Can't really argue since it's all Dagoth's opinion, but objectively I don't think a single movie besides those in the OT gets above a 4/10, and even then the only one that reaches 4 is Rogue One for being at least not completely broken, even if it was unnecessary and bland.
Rise of Skywalker is a waste of my time. I was this 👌 close to just walking out the theater. When the movie finally ended, i stormed out the theater in frustration.
Jarjar only sucks because George Lucas changed his plans for Jarjar. Originally Jarjar was suppose to be a Sith Lord putting on an act and he was suppose to be Palpatines With teacher. But now that Disney owns it Star Wars sucks. Disney completely ruined it. Before that it had so much potential.
I tried rewatching TPM and was quite literally falling asleep in my chair by the time they left Coruscant. I was able to get through 2001: A Space Odyssey easier. But at least I watched it, I can't say as much for Rise of Skywalker.
wtf. You actually got the prequels right. i LOVED them as a kid but also ive never respected dialogue, or logical accuracy in movies its all about the action :^)
I always have to say, I like exactly two scenes in Rise of Skywalker: 1. Poe states that the "Holdo maneuver" (aka slamming with lightspeed into something) has a one in-a-million chance of success. Basically stating that admiral purple hairs plan was dogshit, and everyone knows it. 2. Kylo Ren just putting his mask back together. Thus destroying his "don't linger on the past" story line from the previous movie by getting back to being Vaders little fanboy. So in essence: the best parts in this movie are those where they shit on the previous one.
Dagoth on point with the last jedi, Luke as a cranky disillusioned jedi after the fall of his jedi order and the 'purge' that occured makes a lot of sense, he was not nearly as dogmatic as obi wan and yoda, would very much just, not hold onto the beliefs the same way they did, he does remember life before being a jedi, obi wan and yoda know nothing but being a jedi. So they held on, while Luke, not falling to the dark side persay, but succumbing to Apathy (Which is death)
Not a single one of the Disney sequal trilogy belongs above D tier. They just projectile vomited all over Star Wars like a tavern Nord on St Patrick's Day.
Oh please merciful Lord Dagoth Ur please burn the heretical rise of Skywalker from my mind. Burnt from all of our minds that we may know of the beauty and Majesty that is the expanded universe.
This is unironically the best Star Wars tier list I have ever seen. I would bump Rogue One down to C, The Last Jedi down to F, and AOTC up to C, but otherwise I pretty much agree across the board.
