If you place a rectangle bar of foam (from packing) underneath the keyboard it almost eliminates any flexing on top of absorbing sound. Then I add strips of foam sheets (from packing trays of tomatoes from the grocery store; it's free) to the space bar, and place the keyboard ontop of a neoprene keyboard mat which is sitting ontop of 3 sheets of foam (from the tomatoe packing); the sound is greatly reduced to quite thacking (borderline thock) due to the keycaps wobble, but when bottoming out, the keycaps thock.
Good review. Good comments, thanks, however, these speakers do not have a subwoofer output. I connected my R1280DB speakers to a Klipsch subwoofer and got a sudden massive audio improvement, improved clarity and overall quality of sound. So my concern is how well these speaker sound without a subwoofer. Music and movies will always sound better with a subwoofer.
Yeah, with a decent sound card you could pin point every noise with this headset. I have tried many other "5.1" emulated headsets costing a lot more over the years and nothing has come close to the advantage these gave me in FPS games. The way the speakers were spaced out and with a bit of sound card tweaking you could track enemies so easily. They led to many people calling me a hacker back in the day. COD2 and COD4 were a blast with these things. I had 3 sets, excluding a set I bought for my nephew, until sources for them dried up. The last pair I bought were only £30 as they were deemed outdated by then. The folding design was the weak point as it caused two issues. Either one of the hinges would snap, especially if you removed them from your head by pulling one side off and pulling up. The other issue was one side, the right side I think, where the speakers ceased working altogether and was caused to by the routing of the wires from one side to the other that went through the hinges. This could cause the wires to wear through and break. I found the clip on mic was a far better option than the still commonly integrated solution. I still have one of the mics that works fine.
This monitor was the behemoth of all monitors in 2020, especially when the COVID crisis was kicking in. Despite its excellent benefits, its build is somewhat awkward, and would be more suitable for business use over extreme gaming.
Don't waste your money. It's complete garbage. Wi-Fi constantly drops out. The Phone app freezes so it's completely useless. The unique URL for each device only works once. D-Link Tech support never respond to online chat requests for troubleshooting assistance. Wi-Fi download speed maxed out at 20mbps & upload reach 1.7mbps. I will never buy another D-Link product after wasting money on the mesh mess.
i agreed with you, but my speedtest got max speed on 5ghz, but 2ghz was awful.. the most i hate about M32, i put 2nd device within 15feet, i received no internet connection, this device is totally garbage.
What would be a good device then? I have a house that has a ground floor, a first floor and a second floor and they are run through with a UTP cable. The router is located on the first floor. Would it be ok to connect one node (for the ground floor) by utp to the router and another node (for the second floor) by utp to the router? So they are not mesh wifi. Or is it better to install a router (access point) instead of a node? Tnx!
After switching to Deco x55, my speed was freaking awesome, I was able to reach 250mbps from dead zone area, max speed 500mbps, I was able to set 2ghz for 8 ip cameras, I would recommend switch to deco devices for mesh connection, way better than M32. My house is duplex, Deco x55 work great for me. No regret..
If you installed the software'' jun 2024 update'', after resetting the keyboard, the Ring Light keyboard will stop working and there is no way to fix it from software , the only way to fix this problem is to use a factory reset on the keyboard.use this combo : fn+esc then f1+f3+f5
Supposed the 2 hard drive slots are taken like in this video, what are my options to backup the entire content of the NAS? Should I do RAID inside this NAS or should I just copy it directly? What Synology tools are available?
