I’ve been a sewist and quilter for many years. I’ve been blessed to have my work published in McCall’s, For The Love of Quilting, Quiltmaker and Quilt magazines. I hope to share my love of stitching with other stitchers here on my channel.
@@suepotts698 Hi Sue, I use Floriani Stitch n Wash Fusible Tearaway. I trace the design onto the Floriani, fuse it to the fabric, cut out leaving a scant seam allowance, glue the edges down, press and then the shape is ready to be appliquéd. About 80% of the stitch n wash will dissolve after washing. I love this method for achieving great detailed pieces and is much quicker than traditional needle turn appliqué (which I love). I make quilts that are 90% appliqué many times, so this is my go to method. Hope this helps 😊
Love the hibernation quilt. How will it be quilted? When the tops are so beautiful, I want to just look at them and have a really hard time with the quilting. Just wondering how you will have it quilted. You are so talented!!
Okay I thought you said you sketched the bulb on prompt 1 and now I know that’s what you said because you just said you sketched this image. Amazing! You’re very talented so thank you for sharing your work ❤
I love this piece!! The moth turned out so pretty ❤ I’m already looking forward to your next video! As I wait, I’m going to start planning my journal and supplies🤩

Beautiful ideia as moths are frequently forgotten…😊😊 Do you mind on giving the name of the naturalist/photographer/ writer who inspired you? I could not get her name … thank you!!❤
@@valeriacamposdasilveira2735 Thank you very much, Valeria! Yes, they do. Her name is Gene Stratton Porter. She was an author around the turn of the century. The book that inspired my mother choice is A Girl of The Limberlost. 🥰

Beautiful witness. Thank you. (Are you a reader? I recently read “What’s Mine’s Mine” (1886) by George Macdonald. Your account of wolves brought to mind a chapter in this book.)
Your pages look great. I'm still working on my summer page and will just add a butterfly yo it because I feel like I'm behind. Ha Ha Congratulations on your 3,000 subbies.
