@@willowhilldesigns7 Good morning Becca! Did you see the eclipse afterall? We live very close to the path of totality, so we got a pretty good show in our yard. We had a lot of clouds, so it was on & off, but they parted just enough to get a look at each stage. Luckily, we had our glasses left from 2017. We were doing yard work, so we just stopped every few minutes for a look. The whole day was a celebration of the continuation of life! Every darkness is banished by The Light! And spring pushes up & out after every winter! The entire Universe is a testament to that fact! Isn't it a beautiful and loving design?! I've become quite a fan of science in my second half of life, and see it as an affirmation of God, not the proof there isn't one! The Hubble telescope, and now the Webb, have given me a look at the face of God I believe in! Sorry for the rambling, but I wanted to share my thoughts with you this morning. 🤷 (Have you already told me what state you live in? Sorry. 🙄🥴😊) Hope you have a great day today!🙏❤️
Thankyou Becca, your fabric is so lovely😊. I will be watching closely when you stitch the gusset into your satchel… I sewed myself into a corner so to speak🤭 when I was attempting to put one into a zippered pouch on my husswif. In the end I managed to solve it but “my way” not at all correctly😵💫 It works but I would like to have stitched it correctly. Thanks for the detail you share with your videos. I enjoyed the pics of the eclipse 🌻🦋
Thanks very much Trish! I’m wondering how the gusset stitching will work out. I won’t be sewing it in by machine in the spirit of slow stitching, which would have been so much easier.
