We are Emilie and Josh - Mum and Dad to our four beautiful kiddos through adoption and fostering: Adam, George, Tallie and James. Together, we are: The Larters. We are one family split across two countries - the UK and Uganda. We share raw, real content of our everyday lives alongside our experiences of being a cross-cultural family, going through the international adoption process, surviving a long distance relationship and our charity work. We believe that love makes a family 🤎

Have messaged Jenni @cultureconnectproject might be a mutually beneficial way you two could work together for fund raising and supporting the community. X
She tried that. And they were greatly struggling when apart. They were struggling to get the adoption done for Josh and their 3 kids. Which that has to be completed before they can all apply to come to the UK. She was also missing James, George, and Tallie growing up.
Hi Emily, I hope you’re all well and hope josh is possibly doing better, based on josh’s symptoms you’ve discribed it sounds like josh may have chrones
Please stop apologizing for asking, those of us who can give just need to know it time to give. Those who don’t won’t. Your success and the Ceda success. Benefits humanity as a whole. ❤❤❤❤
hope whatever appointment adam had went well. and good luck to the kids with their exams, i’m sure they will do well. hope everything gets sorted out for all of you❤
Whilst I couldn't organise a fundraising event myself atm, I'd love if others could share info on theirs so I could support them online - or locally if there are any in my county 😊
These comments are horrible and ignorant, but i personally wouldn't post my child on the Internet unless they are old enough to consent. She is obviously a wonderful mother and entitled to make her own decisions regarding her children and i wish them the brightest future xxx
Glad Josh is doing better, would you and Josh ever get married? It would be a great place to start, then you can start the adoption process for the other kids. With one big happy family.
My great wishes is that one day you both reunited in UK for a better future and never give up and keep going on and I appreciate well the way you handle things there in Uganda 🇺🇬 so best of luck Emily ❤❤❤
@@69footballgoats We used to do it this way, but we had to simplify the charity as it was taking up too much of our time with the logistics of it all. With them now away at schools it would be impossible for us the do specific child updates etc. The way we do it now is everyone gets general updates on how all of the children are doing via our Kofi platform 😊
The foundarising idea would be super good my niece who has been watching you for years and made everyone in my family including myself to subscribe and watch your videos would be more than willing to help!🎉
I think you , you guys should wait until everything settles Everyone is upset about what's going on in UK right now. Most steps are not going back. I'm just saying you should wait a little bit. Let's go back, don't rush?
I only use suitcases when I’m going on fun trips for a few days and need to take my clothes already ironed and folded etc for our outings and excursions but when it comes to packing for home it’s light bags for me to maximize those kilos ma’am.
Emilee, I adore your love for these worthy children. Thank-you, for being an extraordinary human. May God make a way, for Josh and the children to move to the UK. Praying for God, to open doors that no man can shut.🙏🏽❤
Honestly I’ve been feeling so depressed and just getting this notification that you posted a video gave me something to look forward to and feel happy. It’s just the feeling of familiarity and a warm presence that really helps me boost my mood. I also kept checking my phone to see if you had posted. Always looking forward to your videos and also you seem like you have been getting lots of good rest and time to recharge generally ❤
