I get a little closer to fish than most people do and my band is a little stronger as well. I change my bands every 3-4 months or as needed and a lot of people don’t do that either. Two bands is a lot more snappy but one is faster to reload.
@@jowhi9296 I think they are 23” but not sure. I have a mark on my table. I know I’ve had some people complain about how hard it is to load my bands. I make them a little longer on guns that I sell. I did pick up some white band material that was some awesome stuff. It was stout but I liked it.
Video on how the fish is actually removed from the shafts? I never see that from anyone. Some seem fast some seem slow. Just always looking for improvements to make on myself. Thanks again.
You need to spin the shaft to keep the flopper down while taking it out. I’ll try to get a video of it but I’m usually looking for the next fish. Maybe I’ll get one on the boat

That just adds an extra line to get wrapped in or something else in my hands when I already had a lot going on. If I have a lot of deco I have a reel and smb I can send up to hold depth for a period of time.
No didn’t have the time for the lions. Didn’t have a zoo keeper or pole spear in the boat. I did get a big one on the next dive but wasn’t much else going on.
@@jowhi9296 it’s hit or miss out deep for them. If more spots were like that I would definitely take the gear for them. I guess it’s not a bad thing that more spots don’t have them.
awesome video , never seen nothing like that before !i spear fish in portugal ,just freediving though ....i would love to try something like that , looks very tempting kkk . but in portugal its completly ilegal to spear fish or cacth anything from to ocean with tanks on your back ! its unthinkable to do this here , they would confiscate all my material , boat ,ect and still proberly go to jail kkkk all the best
I guess it is what it is for where you’re at. I know a lot of places are like that and it’s just one of those things you have to deal with and abide by. Fortunately it is legal for me here.

I was targeting it for an online tournament for this year. I believe at the moment I’m in the lead for points but still need to knock out several species before December.
Today the fishing was great, bro. I also went to the sea to catch some fish, but the sea was not good for fish in my region, but even so, thank God, I was able to catch some for my consumption. I am Brazilian, I really like watching your videos, I think this type of fishing is very good, although there are people who do not value fishing like this, but I am different, and I like this type of underwater fishing. Chad is a beast! Got a good buddy I dove with for years, built the same way, we called him Snooty …… cause with a wetsuit on, well, you know. 😂 my buddy hit an AJ, about 89lbs , during a StPete open, just behind the head & it pierced the spine, I had to chisel it out with a screwdriver and pliers, so he could have his 6’ Riffe shaft back. The fish never stopped moving, looked like a freakin tuna, just swimming nonstop, even after I chopped the shaft out. Unbelievable animals. Glad you guys were doing team dive in that one!
Had an 80 pounder the first time we found it. I was on the back dive to retrieve it and got so narked out riding that thing I didn’t know what way was up.
