Hello! no po, it took us at least 4hrs to explore the zoo. Mabilisang lakad at konting hinto pa po yun sa mga animals. To properly enjoy the zoo, it would take you a whole day. :)
Word of advice: 1. Do not go there during Chinese New Year. The crowd with foreign and domestic tourists will swarm you coupled with the very narrow alley ways can get very stressful. 2. Check the weather proper before going. On a rainy day, it is almost impossible to find shelters other than the convenience shops or go to find a food stall that no one goes in. It can make one very miserable walking under the rain with the many open umbrellas hitting each other. My wife and I was there on the rainy second day of Chinese New Year was a very unpleasant experience.

Hello thanks for watching! So we exchanged our currency in PH prior to our flight. The buying rate that time is 1.95 PHP = 1 NTD. Some fast food stores are close, but there are convenience stores inside and outside that are 24hr open :) As far as I know, the only transpo available at 1am is Taxi and uber since MRT and Bus operations is offline that time
Hello thanks for correcting, I wasn't able to add that there are 4 of us in the Taipei zoo. So 846NTD x approx 2PHP / 4 pax = 423 php. And mis-divided the pork bun instead of multiplying. I stand corrected po.

May I know where did you stay? I am planning to go to taiwan but no idea where is the best district to find a place to stay so it will be accessible to the train station and not too far from the park or other tourist spots
Hello, we stayed in City Suites Nandong in Songshan District. it's near Raohe Night Market and relatively near to Taipei 101. It's a 5-10 min walk to the Nanjing Sanmin Train Station. You may also want to check a place the Zhongzheng District, you may find lots of tourist spots in that place too :)
Thanks 4 supporting Taiwan tourism. It looks like you got lots of rain. I guess food inflation has hit their night market too, as that pepper baked bun was $40 NT when we visited in 2009, but at $60 it’s still cheaper and way better than North America McDonalds or Burger King at $5+ without cheese. Mandatory self quarantine upon arrival is not required. But if you use the self-test kit given at the airport upon arriving at your hotel, and tested positive, you need to report it and have self quarantined.
Hello, no it's not compulsory since the entrance of gondola is like a 5 min walk from the entrance of Taipei Zoo. But there is a station in the gondola that's a rear entrance for the Taipei Zoo. The MRT station is between the entrance of zoo and entrance of gondola.

Yes we bought the prepaid sim cards at the airport, you may choose depending on how long your stay is. Unlicall and data for the duration as far as I know.

It depends since you can haggle naman, but the deal we had was like buy 12 + 1 free. Yes! We bought those since we can't find one anywhere, it's a unique keychain.

Thanks for watching! We visited around October, so the weather is cool but not too cold. I think by December or January the weather will be much colder. I'm not sure if you can breath with visible vapor coming out of your mouth.
