A short video about our recent Taiwan trip. Departure from NAIA to arrival in Taoyuan Int. Airport. October updates regarding travel restrictions, covid test, quarantines.
Thanks for sharing. We are going to Tapei next month from Cebu. If only Manila and Cebu city could be as clean and modern as other Asian cities. Hoping someday.
Thanks and you’re welcome! Before boarding, the usual purpose and how long the stay is. No questions about health and vax concerns. But vax card is needed in Taiwan airport before going back to your country. No need RTPCR test. We booked in Agoda flight+hotel around 30k php for 5 days and 4 nights. Taipei airport will give you a box with 4 test kits inside and it is free.
Yes we bought the prepaid sim cards at the airport, you may choose depending on how long your stay is. Unlicall and data for the duration as far as I know.
Thanks for the video! We’re planning to go to taiwan next yr January but I have read that they have “1 person per room” requirement for hotels if you are tourist. Is this true though?
Thanks for watching and I hope you learned something! Wow that's nice, January is the coldest month in Taiwan. No, you can share the room upon check in. There wasn't any policy told us by hotel managers regarding 1 person per room. In fact, they even allowed 4 of us to stay together. Rooms may be shared, but room assignments may not be changed during the trip.
Hello thank you for watching! I would safely say it's not that cheap nor it's too expensive. Snacks may vary from 30 NTD (60 PHP) to 80 NTD (160). While the public friendly meals can go up to 150 NTD (300 PHP). We didn't eat out at restaurants since the purpose of our trip is mainly trying the street foods and night market goodies :)
Hi po. Sa pabalik ng Pilipinas hinahanapan pa po ba ng negative rapid test sa Taiwan airport? Do they check anything po ba like kailangan you have used up all the rapid test kits provided during your stay? Thank you!
Di na po kami hinanapan ng negative test result in Taiwan airport paguwi, But they needed to see our vax card for record. They didn't check kung naubos namin ang test kits, kaya may uwi pa kami since di naman kami tumagal po.
Hello po do we have to do antigen goinv to taiwan and if nasa taiwan na mismo need ba uli mag antigen? Also saan ipapakita yung result ng test na gagawin every two days?
Thanks! No need to do antigen prior to your flight, just bring your vax card will do. We self tested upon arrival at the hotel and got negative naman so we can go out. No need to report the negative result. But if you tested positive, you need to report it to the gov’t via the call card given with the test kit. Yes every 2 days as instructed in the card may QR code ata to direct you to their site.
Hello po! We're planning na pumunta po ng kapatid ko (she's a minor) this december.
Hello thanks for watching! I'm not familiar with this issue po regarding minor travelers, but I would suggest as long as you have itinerary and vaccination documents then 50/50 you're already prepared. Usually PH immigration asks how long the travel is, purpose of travel, place of stay, travel insurance, etc. But I was caught off guard when I was asked about my work and company. They didn't ask for proof of work naman but next time you can consider preparing for this too.
Hello, yes it's included in the Agoda flight + hotel. It will range from 20k to 40k depending on the duration of stay, flight and hotel accommodations.
Hi thanks for watching! We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights and the immigration didn’t ask much just the usual how long the stay is. It was convenient and the process was easy.
Hi Ma’am! I’m planning on going to Taiwan this December. I just have a question with regards to the antigen test. Do we have to test ourselves in the airport and get a negative result before tau pumunta sa accommodation natin? And may cut-off po ba ung paminigay nila? Baka kc madaling araw dating ko e and am kinda afraid na I have to stay longer sa airport para dun. Sana po masagot ninyo. Salamat ng marami.
Hello thanks for watching! No need to take the test at the airport before going to your hotel since they ease the entry for tourists. As far as I know, wala naman pong cut-off and I'm pretty sure there will be personnel standing by 24-7. FYI lang po may closing time ang airport train nila ng 11pm (I think) until 6am so you may want to consider other transpo if you're arriving early morning.
@@topj10 Hi! Thank u po. Another question po, ung arrival restriction po ba na 7:00AM-12Mindnight applicable lang po ba sa mga migrant workers or kasama po tourist duon?
@@gmcebu2331 Arrival restriction? Parang wala naman po akong nabalitaan na ganun for tourists since anytime naman ata ang flights pag nagbu-book? I'm not sure lang po for migrant workers, pero sa tourist wala naman issues regarding time of entry.
Hi. Ask ko lang what other means of transpo kapag ang dating sa Taiwan around 2am na? And madali lang po ba magpapalit ng other currency pagdating sa airport? Thank you.
Hello thanks for watching! This I wasn't sure po, but as far as I know Airport MRT and Bus Transportations have last trip schedules. Taxis are operating 24/7 tho. For further clarification, here's the airport site: www.taoyuan-airport.com/buses?lang=en As for currency exchange, there are booths in the airport. But if you're arriving at 2am and will be needing cash, I would suggest to have it exchange here in the PH to be prepared. Some foreign exchange accept PHP to NTD by schedule.
Thanks and you’re welcome! We self tested upon arrival at the hotel and got negative naman so we can go out. No need to report the negative result. But if you tested positive, you need to report it to the gov’t via the call card given with the test kit. Yes every 2 days as instructed in the card
Hello po, so bali 4 people kami in a room (which is dapat 2 lang daw) but the hotel offered additional payment for the extra amenities. An extra room will cost you around 40k php more for 5 days. Yung additional payment is around 12k php lang po
Hindi na po hinanap yung antigen tests pag uwi, basta negative result ok na itapon properly. The gov't is trusting the people to be responsible enough para ireport ang positive tests.
Hello thanks for watching! Yes po. It is not a requirement na for sponsors/ invitation letters. You can just have your itinerary documents prepared specially if tourist lang naman po
As far as I remember, merong valid for 3 - 5 - 7 - 8 - 10 or more days. Cheapest is around 300 NTD (150 PHP) then 450 NTD (225 PHP), 500 NTD (250 PHP) and so on.
@@issa7465 it CAN be asked in the immigration. I would suggest not availing one muna. When asked in the PH immigration, that's when you just buy via Gcash app (they offer travel insurance).
Hi po, nice vlog 😊 would u know po if ilang shots for vax ang required to enter Taiwan? Kelangan po ba may booster shot? Planning to travel this month po sana. Salamat!
Hello thank you for watching! As much as possible completely vaccinated + 1 booster shot. We had 2nd booster shot tho 1 week before departure just for peace of mind. Nakakamiss, enjoy and have a safe trip po!
