Can you please make a video or at least respond here with specifics about PRO-MIX FLX? I used to use BK25 but now my local greenhouses have all switched to carrying FLX instead and your website has no listing/info for FLX. It looks the same in composition to BK25 but I would like to know the specifics like you have outlined here for the BK25. Thanks.

Ur better to use a succulent mix with sand ... My 3 year old aloe I transplanted with the hp pro mix still wasn't draining enough . I bought sand/coco coir an lava rocks to mix with the hp. Now my aloe is happy .
Do you all have any recommended granular fertilizers to add past the initial 10 day starter charge? We are using promix BX to grow ranunculus and anemones in crates and considering adding granular slow release Sustane 4-6-4 for longer-term fertility at the start.
Hi! We recommend to use a control release fertilizer, such as Osmocote, Nutricote or Poly-On. There are different fertilizer blends with different release and application rates, so we also recommend contacting your supplier or fertilizer manufacturer for the product and application rate best suited for your growing situation. I have a question for you. I have x2 3.8 cu ft of hp and want to simulate bx should I just add more peat and at what percentage? Also can I add vermiculite also since it used to come with bx? Thank you for your help
Hi! It is more complicated since adding peat moss only addresses one component of the growing medium and other ingredients in the PRO-MIX formulation would need to be adjusted upward, such as limestone, macro and micronutrients, wetting agent, and Active Ingredients, for the product to perform similar to PRO-MIX BX. It would best to purchase the preformulated PRO-MIX BX to be sure the product performs to your needs.

If you give them a couple drops of Calmag, drop of grow nutes, drop of micro nutes, drop of bloom, in one gallon of water, every water and top dress with worm castings and compost manure you will never see a nitrogen deficiency. Add a drop or two of PK boosters in fourth week. Smooth sailing.
What is the difference if you treat it like inert coco? Just sterilize it, and reuse it as an inert medium. Add dolomite if needed. Most people who use it as a hydroponic medium ph's their feed anyways. The only real thing that you lose the he did not mention is the beneficial bactiera will expire. Use your own teas and you are golden. Also throw it away after a year or so as the peat will break down and become acidic. I don't see an issue re-using it a couple times.

Hi! The acceptable/target pH range for PRO-MIX HP is between 5.5-6.2. The PRO-MIX HP pH range will reach the 5.8 - 6.2 range 7 - 10 days after planting and watering as the lime begins to activate and adjust the pH.
