Is pro-mix bx with the fungicide ok for an outdoor raised veggie bed in GA? The bag says for “protected growing environments only” like a greenhouse. My friend already put it down before reading the label 😬

Will the mycorrhizae fungi in your potting soil survive if the bag is left in the sun or in a hot box truck during shipping? What is the safe temperature range for mycorrhizae fungi? How can I tell if the fungi is still alive? Can the fungi survive if I use houseplant insecticide in the potting soil? I am growing African violets and other hobbyist highly recommend your potting soil. I Have re-potted all of my plants using Pro-Mix BX because of their recommendations and their beautiful plants. Unfortunately, none of the hobbyist can answer any of the questions mentioned above.

Do you all have any recommended granular fertilizers to add past the initial 10 day starter charge? We are using promix BX to grow ranunculus and anemones in crates and considering adding granular slow release Sustane 4-6-4 for longer-term fertility at the start.

Does watering with regular tap water ruin the mixing media?

Can I use this in a raised bed as-is, or do I add anything other than fertilizer?

How many gallons in a bale of pro mix bx 3.8 cu ft

I repotted a ficus that required removal of all old soil, and sanitizing the pot thay it was potted in, i repotted it in this medium potting soil, as i couldn't locate my personal favorite, so i purchased this in 2cf, none of the old soil came in contact with this promix i used, by washing all the roots clean of the old medium, it has only been initially watered once after potting tge ficus, its neen not even a week, and om seeing blue and green mold appearing on tge surface of tge soil, i was under the assumption that this product wss safe for potting containers and used for both indoor and outdoor planting. Im afraid that this is hoing tp kill my ficus that can't be replaced, it over a decade or more old, and it irreplaceable! I called yhe company, only to be transferred to another department, and was told i could leave a message, and they would contact me back, i haven't heard anything yet! I dont want my tree to die, and im on disability, so im not able to fork out funding to seek a nrw medium to repot my tree again, i spent $50on this product in the assumption that it was superior and suburb quality. Im so disappointed and saddened that my plant may now be suffering, instead of thriving in growth 😪
