@Fire_the_editor: Thank you for preserving and uploading this early recording of Hania before the world caught up with her genius! That she is playing the family piano she learned on as a child adds another layer to the importance of capturing this moment for posterity. R (Australia)
Sometimes after the release of 100th Window, Massive Attack were working on an album supposedly called "Weather Underground" The subject was also talked about in an NME article about Damon Albarn (from Gorillaz and Blur) playing on some new Massive Attack songs that I cannot link, because it keeps deleting my comment XD The tracks in this video are tracks that were played live in the pre-Heligoland period (as it states the title, from 2008 to 2010) and it were thought that some of these tracks appeared on that Weather Underground album. But Heligoland came out instead, and some of the tracks played on these live shows were reworked for the album. It still bugs me why Massive Attack never released officialy those tracks, "Marrakesh", "Marooned" and "Hartcliffe Stars" are absolute bangers!! Also im a very big Massive Attack fan :^) (Also, sorry for my bad english, im.italian)
@@Giag700 Thank you for the detailed explanation! It’s always amazing exploring what could’ve been, especially when it comes to a band as Legendary as Massive Attack. Personally, as a fan, the only complaint I have about the group is that they don’t have enough albums hahahah, so it’s pretty cool finding out about a scrapped album. I wish it came out though. And your English is amazing!
It's a miracle...this woman is a miracle...that is happening and we are not aware of how wonderful she is for healing our souls...right now, writing this and listening to her, tears come to my eyes...I don't understand it ..
Got to be the worst concert ever recorded. Crap sound and half of the so-called musicians are barely playing their instruments. They seem more obsessed with parading their egos. Pathetic. And New Order used to be so good. Or is it that this band is DisOrder?
The 80s and 90s. It was a magical time, magical bands that made true masterpieces, which to this day are and will forever be classics. New Order, The Smiths, The Cure, Electronic, Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode and other bands. Pure talent from these artists that we don't see anymore, unfortunately... These artists enchant the whole world to this day, including here where I live, in Brazil.
I heard this album by accident on headphones the second time I had taken psychedelics. I was alone and having a bad trip, then Citizens of Glass started playing, and it was like I had disappeared and become enveloped by an abundance of warmth and compassion. Live is great, but when I’m anxious, I listen to the album and I’m put at ease.
Je me sens totalement sous l'emprise de votre musique , c'est hypnotisant et çà m'inspire j'écoute tout en peignant et c'est magique , est vous une Fée !?
