Rear fits a letter better than the fronts, usually the case with stock fenders. Imagine same but slightly more sunken in by like a few mm. Good choice, wheels you can keep for life.
@@AnotherMotorist ok. Bc man im having hell trying to fit it in the rear haha driver side has more tire poke than passenger and trying to dial in the camber
@@surf183 You stock body? Haha, they're hard to fit. You might need to run -4 camber to get these things to tuck properly. Can run a little less if you have offset bushings up front or something like ikeya control arms front and rear which let you pull the wheels in further from the top. Let me know how it fits. I can't track with these on 255 cuz they rub like crazy. I put on slightly less aggressive 17x10 +47 if i want to drive significantly harder.
Close to stock but slightly lower offset by only a few mm. Don't remember exact specs I might've responded to someone in the past in a another video with some specs
@playwithraph1115 the HFC is a 2.5 but I bought a < cone to transition that to the cat back 3" I'm sure any gains were negligible but just made sense rather than abruptly going from a 2.5 to a 3
Even this place is usually about an hour out for me. I just came back from Japan and it's practically toge everywhere with even more technical consecutives.
Any other vids on this setup? I’m getting a 2020 Genesis G80 Ultimate (5.0 V8) and UEL headers is the first thing on doing on it followed by an X-pipe, granted it’ll all be custom IN HOUSE and I’ll make vids on it, but please any other vids U could link on this setup?
This exact set up might have a few videos, I think all my exhaust iterations have about 2-6 videos a piece. I have like 10-15 videos of just isf exhaust. pulls, WOT, burn out etc.
@@romanpleshkov1125 Dude just gave you an opinion... you want them to respond with an opinion on every facet of the car and compare it to other cars including gas mileage?
I thinking about getting one of these. It’s definitely a underdog car that isn’t as commonly talked about or known about and because the exterior isn’t as overdone like a M car would be to a lower model this car would be the perfect candidate to “Downbadge.” Making it even more of a sleeper. Since lots of people already don’t know that it exists or forgot about it.
250 badge with 250 rear bumper LOL super trollr. The super keen of eye would be able to tell the raised hood to fit the V8. Not sure if you could also do a stock non F fender/bumper. I think you'll love the ISF, the 08-10 are quite a lot cheaper and if I had to do it all over again I don't think the 11+ is worth that substantial amount over. 2010+ get the LSD though but you could always swap one.
What year is your ride? I have a 98 same color as yours riding on Chrome Grand Sport Wheels that has an auto transmission. It also has Long Tubes, an X-pipe SS Exhaust plus Magnaflow Mufflers, Cold Air Kit, LS6 intake, Cold Air Kit. Need 2 get it Tuned, that's next, had to postpone the tune due to emergency .replacement of all suspension components, New Moog Ball Joints, KYB shocks & Poly Bushings, also new Sway bars bushings & links as well, it handles just like a Zo6 now only better!!!!! Last on the list is Heads & Cam but that will be next year.....
I think it was a 01. That's dope, these things be flying, if you got all that for less than a z06 there's no reason for the z06 other than for purist or for the name. I bought mine for bout 1/3rd the price of a z06. Convert to a manual with shorter final drive if you can!
@@AnotherMotorist so you think the 17x8.5 +35 offset front and 18x9.5 offset +35 back will fit? Cuz i dont to spend money for the wheels to dont fit. Intead to just go with c7 Zr1 wheels with factory offset. Thanks.
@@nachosilva3777 They did for me but tucking the top in with some slight camber and on oem tire sizing probably helped. If you're low like mine depending on alignment too you may rub/snag the inside when you full lock your steering wheel. I think it's miniscule and didn't mind it but if you're worried go safer with higher offset/less aggressive fit.
Any exhaust shop should be able to do it for cheap. Just random pipe of any size linking the axle back to the tips instead of routing it through the cans. type in "c5 muffler bypass" on google
I feel it. though preferential. I'll tell you why I downsized and may or may not help my case. I think the OEM 19s on thin tires made it look too toy like and not my style. Downsized to wider wheels all around to fit a squared tire set up for spirited driving/track use, easy tire rotations, and gave it a more stout look after lowering.
@@AnotherMotorist Yep.. I can totally understand that . Best colour. I've got a Gs 460 black/black couple little upgrades on . Fair play your ISF best colour and sounds sweet .👌🏴
I got them with a slight discount offered at RRracing website and labor was like 800$. You'll be looking at around 1k+ usually and it's a 8-16 hour labor rate depending on experience.
Imo the best modern V8 engine. Sure there are MercedesAMG/BMW V8's that rev higher and crank out more power, Ferrari V8's that rev MUCH higher and sing better than any pop star can dream of, American V8's with a deep bass rumble and stump pulling torque, but when you get a fairly high revving V8 that sounds that good AND also has rock solid reliability of being a Lexus creation you can easily daily or road trip, does it really get any better? As I type this in 2023, all of the V8's I mentioned (and others) will stand alone in history and never be topped. Within 40 years or so we may completely lose the ability to design and build such an engine from a clean sheet of paper without reverse engineering...sort of how we lost the ability to recreate the Saturn V rocket boosters that propelled the moon landing missions. Think about that. Yes, makes me sad as well.
Si, correcto! Seems like final chances to enjoy the V8s, though hopefully not. Get them while prices are not totally insane yet. The German V8s are more finicky but will serve just as long if not longer but that toy/lex V8s will last forever while having cheaper cost of ownership!
though it's advertised and known as a 5.0. They do this a lot, the m30b35 from the 635csi is a 3.5 but it's actually a 3.4 etc. 4.9 is technically correct 4.94 if we wanna get picky
