The fence post will not be seamless. It can be sanded down and additionally as it is closer to 38mm and the projectiles are soft they won't really snag. You will only need to grind it down if you want to use 38mm rifled projectiles

I have one of these. Not a huge fan of the vest, but I love the safariland pouches. Really good quality and way better than a lot of the general issue stuff.
I scored an entire SPEAR set with all the pouches and even the carrying bag off of ebay. Now I'm on the hunt for more vests so I can set up multiples like you. Trying to tell myself not to pick one up in DCU...

@@thomasstewart1380 it has to be the aim sport wraith. The hole spacing or width being slightly different will make parts sit differently and it could be unsafe.
@The Gun Foogle So the handguard would have to be modified to fit a rail I already have then. I'll probably just try to get a hold of the wraith if I can. Most likely just gonna build it from the ground up.
I have a 20 inch barrel (with an A2) and an 18 inch barrel (with an YHM phantom) I’m considering using. Do you think one would look more accurate to an actual FAMAR compared to the other?
I've got a side project to make the rear part fit over a milspec ar so that preexisting SBRs can be used or so that people can print FAMAR kits for friends. As well as recreation of the FAMAS SMG prototype handguard and forend. After that I'll have a dev tool pack of every variant.

The top charging handle is pretty great as it's on the front. The side of the upper is accessible and it could be built with a side charger without issues.

This design is made to be printed with PLA+ on a standard size (ender 3) printer with a 220mm ish print bed. Nylon x would be an improvement for most of the parts and the buttplate can be printed in TPU. There is a picatinny rail mount in the files that can host an optic.

Doesn't it have to bought from the manufacturer with that grip to be considered a firearm? I thought if you bought it with a stock then put the grip on yourself it made it an nfa item
@@thegunfoogle2864 what the rulings actually say is IF IT EVER HAD A STOCK ON IT. So if you cannot provide evidence of that fact from original mfg date to the time of conversion it will end bad.
Id intended for the gun to be better illuminated but me to be less detailed like one of those documentaries where they got people in the shadows. Ill probably just remodel an actual room soon instead of using the garage
