By far one of the best explanations , one observation I feel I must mention is: The volume of the background music is bit high and it's kind of distracting. Maybe it is possible to fix it. other than than wow!! thank you.

By far one of the most misleading explanations, one observation I feel I must mention is: The earth and moon both orbit around a barycentre, and it is this inertial orbital motion, which is a contributing factor behind the tidal force. Maybe it's possible to fix this by redoing the video, and turning the sound down. Other than than Rubbish!! Thank you.

I'll be real with you .... I'm confused Oh i understood tidal forces and how to could affect tidal bulges on both sides of the planet. And i know from other videos about moons and how tidal forces of giant planets can affect their moons tectonic activity. The most geologically active planets being some of these moons Not to mention how tidal forces can also cause todal locking But putting these factors in addition to other theoretical physics i know probably requires a university degree and I'm a bit too busy doing another course to dedicate the required time

Hello Timothy, I can try and ease your confusion, but I'd prefer not to do so here, as the people behind this explanation are behaving quite dishonestly, and I do have my own comment section, where you'd be welcome to study this mysterious gravitational effect in peace. Have a great day. Take care and good luck in your studies.

But why can one sometimes see the moon in the sky, not at its zenith at high tide? Shouldn't the moon always be in it's zenith at high tide?

Thank you very much for the highly educational video. I have never viewed or treated fabrics from that perspective before. Although the research is still ongoing and no solutions have been found yet, I have now become aware of these issues. I think about them whenever I wear, wash, and dry clothes, as well as when I dive into the beautiful ocean. Once again, thank you, and please continue your hard work.

I think that awareness campaigns or blogs about which companies are more sustainable to purchase clothing etc. from based on criteria like durability, materials, and other markers to consider as a consumer could be beneficial. I have gone the resale route mostly, otherwise purchasing from Waterlust, Patagonia, Prana, Boody, but it would be helpful to have more transparency across which sustainable companies exist, and which are doing good things for what reasons, since there are so many different clothing manufacturers. When I search online it can be hard to tell what’s authentic. Maybe the best way to combat it now is in consumer awareness. As the clothing breaks down is a much harder question-maybe disposable clothes made out of recycled paper. Haha Thanks for making this! As another person mentioned, I’m also interested in knowing the health effects from presence of Microfibers in our bodies. It didn’t sound like cotton had the same level of attraction to toxic chemicals.
@Waterlust
@Waterlust 10 дней назад
We think it’s extremely challenging for customers to figure out what is authentic and what is just marketing BS. Greenwashing has become so sophisticated! We think one of the best ways is to interact with brands (social media, emails, or in person if you get the chance) and just see how they behave (which you’re doing right now 👏). Are they willing to discuss things transparently and provide detailed answers? It’s really easy to fake environmental commitment in an advertisement, it’s much harder to do in a one-on-one conversation. As it relates to microfiber shedding, we think it’s such a broad and pervasive issue that it will likely require some kind of governmental regulation to get under control. Consumer awareness is an important step in making that happen, as consumer concern can often drive policy change. For the cotton vs. synthetic, we havent seen any studies yet that compare the absorption of persistent organic pollutants on each, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it was more common with synthetic fibers based on the molecular structure of a polymer chain.
@scottelliott6900
@scottelliott6900 11 дней назад
That’s BA about natural organic fibers. They are less harmful. They are NATURAL and break down. Not like forever chemicals. It’s ok to say plastic clothes are more harmful. It’s great that people are looking for solutions

All research on matters of a Green Planet, i.e., zero tilt, must rely on evidence of that perfect condition To state that would cause extreme temperature, at the equator, is a nonsense To state that without worldwide sea currents, would be a disaster To attempt to explain the settling of salt to the seabed, would harm all fish live and plant life To not recognize the incredible condition of the total earth To ignore the creator is all of the above
@davidharrigan9884
@davidharrigan9884 16 дней назад
An interesting aspect of the tides When the earth tilt is zero There will be no tides on the planet This will allow the sea water to settle, without agitation to the sea floor With the % of 97.5 fresh water, the entire ocean will because a freshwater lake The result is a global increase to the entire earth of water vapor to the atmosphere The green planet will return, Again, to every square inch of the planet.

Like the others you complain about, you totally neglect talking about tangential forces, the actual mechanism by which water moves. You're perpetuating misunderstanding under the guise of authoritative clarification. Sigh.

The tides are a result of the 23.5 deg tilt from the Sun rotation When all of the ice, has returned to fresh water The earth will return to zero tilt to the Sun Both of these events will happen at the same time The world tides will not occur, when the earth is at zero tilt And the four seasons will become one season. All these events will return the earth back to the Green Planet
