I got the letter around the time you did (in 2021/22) and got if fixed under warranty, I was suffering without A/C for a while haha.... but then other the summer (2024) again the A/C stopped working and it stopped working again!!! still under warranty, so definitely keep an eye on it yall! 2 times in the shop for the same problem hmmmmm.
Flac is lossless so the file will usually be bit bigger and for some people it's worth it. I would recommend you rip your favorite song as a .wav file then compress it in flac and mp3 and compare it yourself. With my hearing I can't really tell the difference, but if your hearing is good, you might. There is definitely a difference between the two. It comes down to size vs. what you hear.
Thank you for sharing! My husband passed away this year & I am having the same problem with the same JD model. I think your video will let me change it myself!
I am so happy that this might actually help you out! I'm very sorry for your loss and if I can be of any other help feel free to email me at verdier400@gmail.com. I'm not that knowledgeable on this tractor, but I might be able to help nonetheless. 😃
Are you talking about gurgling type noises when running the AC? I too get some noises from the AC. I think it's probably normal for the system but if you're concerned you can go to any AC shop and they'll probably be able to identify if the noises sound normal for the situation.
Honda software platform is notoriously obnoxious to work with. Try some of the steps in this video I made to trouble shoot. As an addition to the video stick with drives 16gb or smaller. For some reason Honda doesn't respond well to "larger" drives. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nleuqOS7aUA.html
I’ve tried every Bluetooth connection for my iPod Classic!! It’s a Late 2009 160gb, still works, but trying to connect it to my ford Expedition!!🤦🏻♂️omg! What a headache. Picked up a USB thumb drive, formatted it to ExFat, moved my music files by dragging it over, and connected it to my truck, and bam 💥!! I can use and play all my music, still get calls, and I have the Apple car play!! It really was very simple to move the music to the usb. No cables or anything, it just made it really simple👍🏼👍🏼
I don't understand you are Jewish and feel bad. I love the Jews. I am a Christian and I love the Jews. My savior is a Jew, Jesus. He loves all of us who live for Him. Perhaps you need more exercise so you can work on being overweight. God bless you.
I don't feel bad for being a Jew, I just have a playful self depreciating sense of humor. I find it comical that many people nowadays can't pick up on that. I appreciate your kind wishes.
As it turns out I was unable to attach anything larger than 16gb in size. Other than that or the ideas I give in the following link then the dealership is your only recourse. Welcome to Honda's crap software systems. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nleuqOS7aUA.htmlsi=r9XPuXN1nPZB4K5H
How did you guys by pass the hondas volume middigation system becuse when you add a sub ti honda especially the insight thay lower the nase the higher the volume and dose it sound good?
You can unplug the ANC module. It's in the dash just behind the glove box area. It's a silver box and it's easy to get to and once you unplug it the car will stop trying to mitigate the bass of the sub with odd noises
Do you use CarPlay/Android Auto? If so does it show upcoming turns on the navigation section in the DII (Gauge Cluster) while using CarPlay or Android Auto?
It's a big job. You might be able to buy the sensor kit online for a lower price and get a local shop to install for a better price. A body shop might be a good choice.
I haven't read about it but its definitely the same jump points. As a precaution I would switch the car into sport mode or turn on the heat in order to make sure the engine is running. Though these points are mainly for the 12 volt battery I wouldn't chance running the car low on juice since I'm not sure how the Insight's system will interpret this power drain. It's better to have a portable charger in your car. I would check the user manual on this before trying it .
This is an issue that as far as I can tell can only be fixed with significant software changes in the Bosch system which might percipitate some hardware changes. The system isn't terrible, you just have to remember it's a 2018 or earlier made system by Bosch and it has some significant weaknesses. From what I heard Honda picked an off the shelf system from Bosch when they had originally intended to have a system customized for this car in particular. It's unfortunate that the insight wasn't a bigger success.😔
@@verdier4006 it really was. I wonder why it failed. The Prius is still going and that is objectively not as good of a car (in looks, features, and stigma). I just got my temps and this is my first car. I love it a lot and I’ve been binging your videos to find out all I can about the different features, tips, and upgrades. I’m planning on getting parking sensors. Do you still have yours? How has the experience been over the years? You haven’t posted a video in a while,
Yes I still have mine. I haven't been driving a lot and I've been suffering some depression issues and such so I haven't been up to making videos. The car is doing quite well , in fact it's due for an oil change this Friday.
@@verdier4006 I’m sorry to hear that. I’m glad it’s still going. Well I hope you feel better, and if you get back to posting videos, we’ll be here for it!
You certainly can shuffle and it only shuffles in the folder you're in. If you press the shuffle button multiple times it will sequence between folders to shuffle in or shuffle all files. I don't think there is any way to exclude particular folders from others to not shuffle.
Verdier. I have the pre owned certified Honda care. It’s still covered. They’re not covering it because they are saying the ac vent is “cosmetic.” After all the time deliberating that it was the ac vent, they won’t even swap it out.
Talk to Honda of America about it. If the vent is rattling then it's not cosmetic. To be frank, they probably can't fix it. As I've said mine still rattles even to this day after changing it twice. One person took the vent out and replaced the plastic stabilization rods in the vanes with a metal rod he made himself. From what i heard that worked. I also recommend you file complaints in all car consumer groups if they refuse the repair. Make sure everyone knows that Honda doesn't stand by their products. Honda has been steadily dropping in their most reliability stats for years now.🤔😡
Did you have to install an adapter to your oem stereo to be able to hook up an aftermarket amplifier? If you did do you remember which one it was. I have a 2021 insight but it doesn't have a factory amp and sub.
Okay if it's an LX model then you would probably need to change the head unit to an aftermarket one then you can run an amp off of that. If it's an ex model then it has the nice screen up there but no premium sound system. In that case take it to a radio shop and see what kind of outputs it has. I'm pretty sure it spans out to about 6 channels or so. If it has a digital output then the Metro axxess ax dspx-hn3 may work with it. I know this unit will translate the signal from the digital output from the head unit of the touring model even though it says it's not made for the insight. Metro doesn't know or support that it works, but it definitely works with the head unit on the touring which has a digital output. I believe the ex has a similar output. Once you use this it will translate all the digital data into rca outputs so you can send it out cleanly into an amp of your choice. It even has a built in DSP so you can shape the music to whatever you like . If you want to talk directly email me at verdier400@gmail.com and we can set up to talk or text on the phone and I'll tell you what Ive learned.
@verdier4006 yea I have the ex model with the screen. I was looking at other videos and it seems that using a Loc works really well also. And I don't have to mess with the actual stereo at all. I already ordered it. Only 18 bucks on Amazon. If not I'll look into the one you said. Thank you.
MP4 is usually used as a container for video files. You won't be able to play them through the thumb drive with the current system software in the car. You can use Android auto and there are programs out there that might play video files. Carstream is an app that might do it but you'll have to search the web for it. It won't be on the app store. If you just want to play the audio from an MP4 video through your thumb drive you can find a converter that will strip the audio from an MP4 and turn it into an MP3. Audacity might have this function. You can just type "MP4 to MP3 converter" in Google and im sure you'll find plenty of free programs that can do it .
Not supposed to use LED bulbs for turn signal and backup lamps. Actually illegal in some states. Brake lights can be LED. The reason is that it can be dangerous because LEDs create directional light, and regular bulbs create a sphere of light visible in all directions.
Yes I am aware of this. Some led bulb replacements will work fine depending on the design of the bulb itself. Due to the directionality of led bulbs your mileage may vary. Most states are usually concerned mostly with headlight led replacement bulbs since design elements of the headlamp itself are made for particular kinds of bulbs. Most of the time when you switch standard bulbs in headlamps with led bulbs you end up with very poor beam patterns and generally a much poorer headlamp .
@@verdier4006 There wasn't a way to get it fixed under warranty? I just dropped my car off at the dealer today because I've had a persistent water leak in the roof behind the left quarter glass, and they said they are going to fix it under warranty. When I dropped it off I also mentioned the vent rattle and the vent roller on off lever thing looks like it was installed wrong from the factory. Fingers crossed they can fix it under warranty or worst case bill it off the the cost center.
I've replaced the vent twice and I still get a rattle at times. Unfortunately replacing that particular vent is a 3 hour job and the more they take the dash apart and put it back together the more likely something else in the dash will start rattling. It only happens when the vent is in a certain position and the air is set in a higher position. I've decided they've tried hard enough to fix it and I'll just live with it for now.
