This is why hit the workers crack while he was removing the moss from the fountain😂 is this why they had to crack the childs head open on green street by her mother 😭 people do anything for money 😂 dajjaal when he told me to play the game he told me he invented money and greed and told me learn and watch how driven they are by power and greed 😂
Just had one of these land in my garden. Distinct electric blue with dark banding on wing. Thought it was a dragonfly but too small. Too late with the camera. Never mind. Lovely to see.
Hi, I can only really speak for the UK, is that where you are based? Lots of species about now, including Golden Ringed Dragonfly, Brown Hawker, Emperor Dragonfly, Keeled Skimmers, Black tailed Skimmers, Common Darters to name just a few. July is a good mid season month to see a cross section of most species.
I had one of these in my front room in Andover today. Goodness knows how it got in there! It came out from behind a bookshelf and went berserk at the window! It was massive! I opened the window and it flew out into the street! Then I Googled it to see what it was! OMG.
Amazing video - thanks! If it's not too much trouble, can you tell us the equipment you used? I took some nice photos of the male of the species recently in Bedford Priory Country Park, and really should have taken some video at the same time - next time, maybe!
Hi, thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video. At the time the equipment I was using was a Sony HDR FX1 with Raynox diopter screw on close up lenses. Although by modern standards this is quite an old setup as it only shoots 1080i. Hope this helps.
Chapter 65 literally brought me here | Jungle Juice Manhwa... I just wanted to know how huge this insect is ...!!! And how it does look ... But it's not even close to the beauty of Su Chan ...
Amazing watch, did not realise that the males don’t need to vigorously flap the wings when female is egg depositing . Truly amazing the strength in the abdomen to stay aloft whilst the female lays eggs.
Had a female in my garden today, only caught my attention as i happened to be looking out the window while it flew around and settled high up on our hedge. Stayed there for a good 25 minutes, occasionally flying off and coming back again.
@@NewForestDragonflies Thanks for the info! My old SLR can only manage 60fps, but I did manage to get my first half decent dragonfly footage yesterday! 😁
Greetings from the South of Finland. Wonderful film, thank you for sharing. Calopteryx species (are found along running waters here, too. Very beautiful insects.
I once saw this blue bug, it was flyinf and its wings weren't visible at all. It looked like it had no wings, I think it was a damselfly but damselfly's eyes are a lot bigger than the one I saw. I didn't even see its eyes, and also it was just pure blue, nothing else, it was like blue thin stick with no texture visible that has a thick blue part. The only thing making me think it's a bug is because it was flying and it was outside, that's all. No legs were visible. Does anyone know about this?
Is the individual shown from 0:31 indeed a male? The website where I found a link to this video (british-dragonflies.org.uk/species/scarce-chaser/) seems to suggest the male is blue and black and only the female is ochre-colored. EDIT: Okay, I just looked at the other website that was linked in the description, and it seems the males begin with an orange color as well and can at that point be easily confused with females. In that case, do you have any tips for how to distinguish between a young male and a female scarce chaser?
Hi, yes the males and females are both bright orange when young. The way to identify them is by the anal appendages at the end of the abdomen. In the example at 0:31 you can see that they are long and close together, in a female they are shorter and there is a noticeable gap between them. Hope this helps.
@@NewForestDragonflies Oh yes, I can see the distinction quite clearly when I look at the female at 0:06 as well. That'll be difficult to see on the sorts of pictures I tend to take, though... oh well. Thank you very much!
Had a male exploring my newish pond. Thanks for these close ups as although I've seen him closeish he's been in swift flight and only settles on the far side of the pond. Never seen one of these before.
Oo mg i found same in our garden in india its so beautiful plse chk my channel u can find it it looks exactly same but am not sure whether its same as this. On searching i found a lot of them similar and got confused
